I was a bit sceptical as to how great this attachment would be for the hand-held V6 Animal, but glad I took the gamble after reading lots of positive reviews about it on here. This one at £17.39 against a £60-£70 branded dyson one was a no brainier. Yes it’s not quite as good as the dyson head, but it’s never going to be as the dyson technology is superb. This is however a great budget replacement. Way better than I thought it would be. The suction on hard floors and very short pile carpet is actually better than the dyson in my opinion. On long pile better quality carpet it’s hard going to push it back and forth as the suction is so good on it. Where this one comes down in the ratings for me is that it doesn’t have the pile-adjustable slider on this attachment, where the dyson does. The head of this attachment is a fair bit smaller than the dyson, but again, in my opinion this is better as it allows you to get into smaller areas than the dyson attachment allows. I actually think this cheap £17.39 attachment is brilliant. It’s well worth every penny, especially in this current economic climate where every saving helps. I’m thrilled with this attachment. It is really really good and without sacrificing on quality or suction at all. The movability of this attachment isn’t quite as smooth as the moving ball joint of the dyson but it’s never going to be…..but it’s certainly good enough for what I need. Very impressed and saved me around £40-£50 extra buying the dyson branded one. It’s a 9/10 from me. A very good budget alternative with excellent suction. Just make sure you buy the correct attachment for the handheld you have…..one doesn’t fit all…..dyson are crafty !!!

Works ok, not as wide and as sturdy as Dyson's own, but such a lot less cost. Can recomend.

Fantastic brush head for my Dyson DC59. Fits perfectly and works like a dream. Really great value for money.

Bought this for my dyson v6 animal, as I'd lost the end parts to the authentic one over the years... Arrived and first impression it fits well to the dyson hand held, it picks up well, but, I was disappointed when hoovering carpet, the suction was too intense and the hoovering would stop thinking something was jammed. It would take one arm on the hoover handle, and another on the shift to hoovering abit more seamlessly... and with that being said, the attachment is smaller than the original, so it makes for a time consuming work out... Product works fine on hard floors.

Anything (almost) is better than buying a replacement from Dyson and this replacement actually works better than the original brush!!

Does not fit with Dyson V6 as it claimed
