Great item and a must if you have bought the associated roller
Great asset to roller painting as made the job so much easier as you can adjust as you go along but more importantly feel confident that it is securely in place

Buy all the extra's !
Don't expect this extension pole to fit ANY of your roller heads and don't expect your roller sleeves to fit the Wooster roller head when you buy this as well as the original order !!! You will need to buy their make of everything. So it is useless to me and I will be buying a Purdy extension rod tomorrow as I NEED it tomorrow and Never imagined this situation !!!

6 month user, no complaints
This is a great extension. The build quality is great and the locking mechanism for the pole is very robust. No issues with it after using it for 6 months.

Great quality at a good price. I like that you can use the speed lock or the standard threaded attachments

Bought this after seeing a review on Youtube. Awesome extendable pole. Solid, easy to extend and locks firmly. Excellent grip at the handle end and has an easy snap lock/release tab at the tip for attachments. I bought the round swivel head sanding pad head to use with this as well as a wooster roll cage that both attach flawlessly.

What can I say. This is an extension pole for painting, & it’s constructed very well (best ever used in my 30 yrs of painting) & the clip system Wooster uses, brilliant & easy, even w/ arthritic hurting hands. The nice thing about this size....perfect for most ceilings in bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, basically any “standard room” in a “normal” house. This means if your ceilings are no taller than 8 feet. The 2-4 ft pole is “light” enough that your arms aren’t wet noodles at the end of the day, from holding & using; especially if above your head doing a ceiling etc.... The other nice thing, don’t need to buy the other Wooster Sherlock GT convertible roller cages etc...AS this will WORK w/ any roller out there! There is an adapter in the handle, that will allow one to convert any “old” style roller w/ normal threaded handle....to use this pole. Awesome. Gotta say though, sometimes the adapter falls out of my handle, so be weary of this; and that’s one of two only negative I have for this. Able to do field repairs w/ the kits can buy, attach sanders, broom heads, basically anything that’s in the Sherlock GT “system”, or use the included adapter to use with this. The second negative I have...the adapters are plastic (albeit, hard “durable” plastic material); but they do break at times, or just wear out & need to use a new adapter. Nice thing, comes in set of 2 & the cost is very affordable...so, it to horrible of a thing, & rather pay less than more for an adapter that may last 10x longer than the plastic ones; but I do usually get 7-14 mos before needs a new one (yes, can recycle broken adapters). Heck, far as know, can recycle the entire pole if reals to wear impossible to repair (but than, Wooster support will most likely help you out), as it’s metal & plastic. Am I happy with this extension pole over others. Yes, the push “clip/button” system is super easy & the “click” you “feel/hear” when using is great for knowing the item (roller, sander, broom) is in place. Would I recommend for the person just using once to paint maybe a room or two every 5-10 yrs. YES, as I said before....not just a paint roller extension. It’s so much more & very useful. Even bought Xmas light adapter to put my lights up in trees, house this year. Worked great & arms weren’t tired...for this model. Great job Wooster, like this pole a lot & been using since bought my first one many many years ago (bought more b/c wanted more for others, ot b/c it broke😁). Hope this helps.

I was a design engineer for many years and appreciate a product that is well thought out and executed. The Wooster Brush Sherlock GT pole is a well-designed tool. It has a light weight, fiberglass outer sleeve and a hexagonal, aluminum inner pole. That combination results in a stiff, light weight assembly and the inner pole will not turn inside the sleeve. The features that really set it apart from the typical extension pole are the click-to-set extension length and the bayonet tool attachment. Setting the length with the push of a button means that you will adjust the length more frequently to obtain the optimum length because it's just so easy! Granted, the length is adjustable only in 6" increments, but that's really no problem at all. Once you experience the Sherlock GT system, you'll never to back to a twist-lock and screw-on roller extension! Being able to install and uninstall a brush, tool or roller with a button push means that you can dip the brush or apply paint to the roller without the cumbersome extension attached. Makes for a much neater, easier and quicker application of paint. I found that I could use the pole with a roller attached at any extension length. Guiding a 16' pole with a roller is a handful, but the Wooster Sherlock GT did it as well as could be expected, with minimum bending and no twisting of either the lock or the tool. I also used the Wooster Sherlock GT with a Mr Longarm Brush/Tool Holder Extsn Kit 0650 to cut in ceiling lines with mixed results. The Wooster Sherlock GT did its job perfectly. The limitation is mainly in the ability of the painter to see the line clearly enough to do a satisfactory job. I found that I could work a line no more than 4' to 6' above my head before I reached the limit of my 20-15 vision. Pros: Relatively light weight. Very stiff; minimal bending. No slipping or rotation of extension. Quick on and off of tools and rollers. Con: Nothing I can think of. The 8' - 16' model is a lot of pole to handle, so remember that when you are choosing the length (shorter models available).
