Otosan Natural Ear Drops, 1 Bottle, 10 ml

After trying 3 different eardrops advised by chemist which didn't help & made my ear worse I tried these eardrops. My symptoms were blocked ears, inflammation & intense itching. I had been to gp who prescribed antibiotic/steroid ear drops although they weren't convinced it was infection. These help a bit but not much. So in desperation I ordered these eye drops. Amazingly with 30 minutes my ear was soothed, no more itching. After 3 days of using twice a day my ear is completely clear. Wonderful stuff. Soothing, pleasant smell & works.

My ears drove me insane, would wake me up every night, would be so dry and itchy and I’d scratch in my sleep using the ear plugs I have to wear and make them bleed, this has cured it, I sometimes feel itchy still but nothing compared to the insanity I was dealing with, doctors and pharmacies only help was put vasaline on the outside of ear and it will, I quote “melt into ear” total rubbish did nothing but this was a desperate buy and lots of googling later so give it a try if your crazy like I was with itching, it took a couple days to a week to start working I used twice a day then just at night and now I can use every other day!!

I suffer from wax build up and inflammation of the outer ear (sometimes both at once, causing extreme pain, discomfort and sleep disruption) and I've tried most of the standard treatments recommended by my GP. None has proved as effective, for me personally, as Otosan natural ear drops. Otosan works well for me, but there is no miracle cure for this problem and what works for me may not be as effective for others. However, since using Otosan I have managed to treat the problem myself without having to make appointments with the GP, who then refers you to the practice nurse for syringing, but only when you have no inflammation or infection - so sometimes you are sent away with instructions to keep using olive oil or sodium bicarbonate. Otosan ear drops are not cheap but I think they are worth the price and I find them much more pleasant to use than other treatments.

Excellent to use once a week to keep ears clear of wax

The description on Amazon is confusing as under the two product description areas it say 'For all types of ear infections problems' or 'Otosan ear drops are the perfect solution to all ear care troubles'. I stopped reading at that point when I bought them It was only after 3 days of using these in the hopes of staving off my incoming ear infection that the pain became full blown 'half my head hurts' hell so I went back and read the entire description again from heading to comments and under the safety warning it says 'Do not use in case of lesions of the tympanum or ear canals, otitis or ear inflammations' My infection started with inflammation and got worse so I wouldn't rely on these drops to help such issues at all. My whole ear became swollen shut, hurt to touch and I could feel it from temple to neck. I finally got a doctors appt and after two days on high strength antibiotics the pain has lessened slightly, another 5 days to go. I can't actually get anything into my ear right now but once I can I think these drops will be good to keep my ear canal moistened when the post infection itch starts as the ear dries out and heals. I can see them also being good for ear wax and they smell really lovely too. I really like the fact that they're in a glass bottle with an excellent squeezey nozzle to assist in getting the drops in the right place. I'm marking them down for rubbish confusing description and although other reviews do seem to think they help with infection, in my current very painful experience I can say with conviction they did not. EDIT November 2024. I wrote this review about 18 months ago and I note they've updated the description now to be more about ear wax softening and ear care rather than promoting them for ear infection. I agree. For ear wax they certainly soften it! Good news.

Had seriously itchy inner ears! The most annoying and painful nightmare ever! Kept me awake day and night constantly itching both my ears, it drove me mad! If I wasn't scratching them with my finger, I was sticking ear buds in to relive the most annoying itches ever! Because I'm breastfeeding the doctors couldn't give me any medication and advised me to use olive oil, that didn't work. My ears were sore, red and still driving me crazy itching constantly! This was the last resort and I wasn't disappointed! Within hours the annoying painful itches soothed right down. My ears still itch but not half as bad and it's only been day one! The itching has subsided that much I'm no longer sticking earbuds into my ears just to stop that horrible, painful and annoying feeling. Mixed reviews I know, but this deffo worked for me! I can actually hear so much better too. Going to keep using this and see what it can do for me. Just had to write a review because this stuff has prevented me from going totally insane. I can't put into words what a nightmare this whole thing has been. I feel so much better, soothed and much more relaxed. Thank you!

I am so satisfied with the product that i am actually using my time to write something! I had my ear itching so I scratched it and I was bleeding at one point, then it started to become painful too. Just after two use my ear expelled all the scabs inside is nice and hydrate and the pain is gone!! I suggest this product to everybody who have issues with ears! Top! And it is Italian.

This is the only product that works on my dodgy ears. Cheaper from Spain though. How come they’re more expensive here in the UK?

Avevo dei tappi che con l'acqua di mare si erano gonfiati ulteriormente, ho messo 5 gocce per 3 volte al giorno per ogni orecchio e dopo 4 giorni il medico mi ha fatto un lavaggio che mi ha stappato completamente, quindi queste gocce hanno decisamente facilitato il tutto. Ottimo il fatto che contengono oli essenziali, utili anche per calmare e diminuire eventuali arrossamenti interni o irritazioni. Encantada! Tenía un pegote de cera, no llegaba a ser tapón pero era bastante grande. Usé este producto una vez al día durante 4 días siguiendo las instrucciones. A los 4 días, le eché agua con una jeringuilla, con mucho cuidado, y al estar la cera blanda, salió perfectamente.

J'ai tout essayé ou presque pour les conduits auditifs et rien à faire ! Rien à faire jusqu'à ce que je découvre ce produit. Honnêtement je n'y croyais pas vraiment mais les commentaires sont bons et pour 10 euros je ne risquait pas grand chose. Et bien, alors que je galérais depuis longtemps avec des produits peu efficaces, quelques gouttes et en 48h plus de démangeaisons ou douleurs ! Le seul inconvénient est la gêne provoquée si vous mettez trop de gouttes, qui met longtemps à s'estomper. Du coup je me contente de 2 gouttes et hop, out va bien. Je recommande vivement.
