This was a little pricey, but, if you have a Lego enthusiast it’s a great project. I bought this for my grown son. It was perfect when he finished it. The lighting is enjoyable!

I was thrilled to finally build this one. The lighthouse is very detailed and easy to assmble. Despite being so tall, this is a very solid structure. Of all the sets I have, this is my favorite. The only issue I had was not with the product, but with Amaon's delivery. It was shipped in the lego box itself, not in a cardboard box. As a result it was damaged in transit and a a bag of parts and the lighthouse motor were lost. Lego support was able to ship the parts, but I had to order the motor on ebay. Anyway be sure to tick the box during check out indicating you want this to be shipped in an amazon box.

Pro’s: Beautiful design and proportions. Engaging build for older teens and adults. With some excellent details. The motorized led light and the illumination in the house add another dimension. Con’s: Directions are not fully interactive in the app. There are several unclear or ambiguous instructions that can easily lead to errors. The cost is seriously excessive considering the number of parts and fact that it can be completed in a few hours. Could use more details especially on the interior.
