BioShock 2 (Xbox 360)

After wanting to play some more horror games, bioshock was recommended by a close friend of mine and so I bought number 2 first as it was cheaper than the first. The story line is one of the greatest and I adore the whole "rapture" thing, I have played the first one now and I absolutely adore these games.It does pull on heart strings and I always rescue the little sisters because I don't have the heart to harvest them for the adam they posses and that means I always get the good ending. At first, I was annoyed with the ending because I did ALL that work just for it to end like that, but then I played again and finally understood it.Amazon took... 3days to delivered and I played for 12 hours straight that night much to my family's hate but they loved that I was using the xbox 360 again.I am not awaiting Bioshock infinite in February 2013, If you're thinking of getting this game-Do so. You won't regret it.

I borrowed the first Bioshock from a friend, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The first time you went underwater in the elevator and saw Rapture was stunning. The first time you saw a Splicer from inside the elevator made me get a chill with anticipation. The characters and the story were excellent throughout. So when this was anounounced, I pre-ordered my copy. When it was eventually released and it arrived, I put the disc in with great anticipation. Although a brilliant game, it just did not live up to my expectation.The story is told from a completely different point of view, you are a Big Daddy. This time, you can help the little sisters to harvest the ADAM from the corpses and either rescue them or harvest them. Just like the first game, you should roughly get the same ADAM at the end. When you harvest them, you get it quicker, when you rescue them you get less, but receive presents of ADAM as the game progresses. I have played the game through twice, the first time rescuing the Little Sisters, and the second time harvesting them. It does change the game ending and how Eleanor will interact with you and others. I found harvesting them a little disturbing and felt awful for doing so ech time, especially when the Little Sisters kept saying Don't hurt me Daddy.The weapons you use are good, i particularly liked the spear gun. This will go through the enemy and pin them against the wall if they are light, like Splicers etc. You can then pick the spears back up again. You still have the launcher and ammo, machine guns etc. The Plasmids you have are the same as this first, ice, fire, telekinesis, hypnotise etc.To get all the tonics in the game and for easier killing of the enemies, you need to researching them first. This means that later on in the game you get a camera. You must equip the camera and take a photo of the subject. Then start shooting it and using plasmids on it to increase the points. When you have amassed enough points on a subject, you are rewarded with either a tonic or more damage against future enemies. There are 4 awards to each subject. Unlike the first game there are no films to find for the camera. Unfortunately it also means that you must take some damage whilst you photograph each subject, make sure you have plenty of health first.A neat feature is the remote hack. Whereas previously you had to be near an item to hack it, you can now shoot a dart and hack it from a distance. A great feature, especially with the auto hack whereby it is automatically hacked. The first game you played a pipe game for hacking, trying to get the flow of liquid from one point to the other. Now, a needle moved fast left to right and you must stop it in a green zone. Hit a red zone and the bots come for you, hit a neutral zone and you take some damage. The harder the hack, the more times you must get it right, between 1 - 5 correct stops will successfully hack the equipment.The setting in Rapture is the same atmosphere as the first, the same art deco and the same music. To upgrade the weapons you use the stations in the game to use them only once, so you have to think what weapons you want upgrading.A bonus I thought was the inclusion of multiplayer. However, playing it a few times I found it to be a little jerky and not as fluid as other online games such as MW2 and Gears of War. This could have been so much better and it does not make me wanting to keep playing multiplayer. The single story was far better.The story was a little confusing at first and only become clearer after much playing. It also feel a bit of the seen it and done it before genre, and question how many times you can keep playing the game to earn all achievements.Overall, it is a good game and a good sequel, but I was expecting something more from all the marketing hype and anticipation.

bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loves it. she is a typical teenager and spends all evening sat in front of the x box, and this is one of the games that certainly gets its fair share of playing. its a spaceage sort of thriller where you play a robot who is programmed to take care of a child only things have gone wrong and the people are like zombies being controlled to stop you getting to the child and saving her, it has an eerie feel to it, pleasantly scary, fun to watch as a spectator.

Amazing i just get lost in playing the game and then its 3.00 - 4.00 in the morning. I would recomend bioshock 1 and 2 and bioshock infinate to anyone. the gameplay is amazing and the story keeps you hooked wanting to know what will happen now? Dont just get the one bioshock game, once you have played one of them you will want all three :)

Any fans of Bioshock 1 here? Yes? Oh there's loads of you? Well I'm not surprised! It's a fantastic game! Irrational games should be proud of creating such a masterful and engrossing experience that can easily go head to head, in terms of narrative, with some of the best movies of our time.The developers that took the baton from irrational to make the sequel has enormous shoes to fill. And you know what, I think they did a smashing job!The gameplay was improved loads and the graphics still look top notch even by today's standards. The only gripe I can think of is that the story just isn't as interesting and compelling as the firsts. But this flaw aside, Bioshock 2 still stands on its own as a brilliant and well made experience!

I can't believe I ever skipped on a game like that... Loved every minute playing!Great immersive story... I'm only sorry I never played it when the multiplayer was popular (if it was)... for some reason I could never find anyone to play with. Still.. I was never that hooked on multiplayer games so that's not such a big deal.

Great game good story would recommend this to any gamer that wants a change this is a intense action packed game a bit scary from time to time also emotional for this price you can't say no it is also playable on the Xbox one because of the backwards compatibility feature.

El producto llegó en perfecto estado. Es la carátula inglesa pero a mi no me importa. El juego es muy bueno, y eso que escuché que era el peor de la saga. Eso sí, se siente muy parecido al bioshock 1, pero bueno, la historia es igual de increible. Lo recomiendo mucho

Tout d'abord, je tiens à dire que je l'ai commandé en occasion et que je l'ai recu en 2 jours ce qui me mets de bonne humeur au moment ou j'écris ce commentaire.Ensuite, que dire du jeu ? Ben, c'est Bioshock, on aime ou on déteste, mais on peut pas rester indifférent après avoir fait un tel jeu.Petite déception, j'ai commandé cette version parce que je pensais que les voix en anglais, mais malheuresement non, c'est bien un V.F. ' acceptable" que nous avons là.Très bon jeu sinon, un must have à un prix trés abordable !

Nachdem ich mir den ersten Teil gekönnt hatte, war ich gespannt zu sehen, was der zweite mir bringen würde und ich muss sagen, der hat dem ganzen die Krone aufgesetzt. Leider spielt den Multiplayer niemand mehr, aber der Singleplayer macht alles richtig. Ein nachfolger wie man sich ihn wirklich wünscht.

Otro juegazo y obra maestra que engordara mi catalogo, decir que es la versión PAL UK con la caja en ingles pero el juego al ponerlo en tu Xbox 360 o Xbox one se pone automáticamente en español. Rapido envio y todo muy correcto.

Perfecto, y también se adapta al idioma de la consola.
