Instead of buying this book, there is a button at the bottom of the app second to the left. Double tap it and above there will be a button that says your account. Click it and then it will say manage your gift cards or manage your money or something similar. Click on it and there will be a list of options click on the one you want. tada you are done

I specifically wanted to know how to check the balance of an Amazon gift card WITHOUT REDEEMING IT. Amazon search specifically stated this was one of the things I could learn from reading this “book” but it was totally untrue.
