I’m working on a vanity wall for my room and I bought this hoping for a neutral colored light for around my mirror (it’s a little on the cooler side). Originally I was looking at neon ropes because they have more of a diffused light look and you can’t see the tiny individual LED lights inside. But the downside to those is that they are thick and hard to install, I needed something that would hold up with adhesive. This strip looked like it had somewhat of a cover on the individual LEDs to diffuse it a little, and it also had an adhesive strip which was perfect so I gave it a shot. When I received the product I didn’t expect the covering over the LED lights to be yellow though (so if it will be exposed be aware that the strip covering the lights is pretty bright yellow) but it didn’t bother me much. They were super easy to put up and they actually look pretty good, they are super bright, dimmable, and perfect for doing my makeup! It was easy to buy and set up the corner connections as well. Overall this works for what I wanted and it definitely beats installing a neon rope.

Exactly what i was looking for to convert my old beer sign to LEDs. I also bought a wire extension so the lights didnt run up the wall. Everything is self contained in the light. Dimmer switch is a big plus... no janky remote. one color i chose is warm white because i tried to keep it as close to the original. Tape seemed good but i wont have to open it up for a while. Pretty flexible lights for the way i needed them to fit. Very dim to lights up my kitchen

Nice easy setup. The adhesive is okay but I needed to add some additional superglue in a few spots. Nice long cord and works great for added light for my 3D;rinter

Installation is relatively easy, adhesion could be better as I can see it coming off around edges of the TV. However very bright leds, and luckily you can control it. This works well as bias lighting. Yes you dont need a super expensive light.

I love how bright these lights are. I put them in my 3D print and they light it up better than I expected. Easy to cut to size too

VERY BRIGHT at full power. IS trimmable to desired length, but you'll have to be a fairly skilled solderer or have a good connecting mechanism. Unfortunately this model requires 24V to work. I didn't notice in the writeup, and was hoping for something between 5-12V. It does come with the appropriate power supply and an in-line dimming component. Provides very good light for most applications.

Be careful with the power adapter. I bought a few of these and the first couple came with a 24V, 1.5A adapter and works well. The second pair I ordered came with a 1.0A adapter, which is slightly smaller amperage, and it gets very hot to the touch on an LED strip that’s even slightly shorter (was cut) than the full 16.4 ft strip. The second set clearly had an incorrect power adapter, and looks different than advertised.
