Our violin instructor recommended these. They are long lasting and much better quality than the cheap ones at the music store. My daughter has played on the last set for several years now.

The strings do not come in a box, which is alarming. The strings themselves seem to be fine.

The strings are great I have been using Vision strings a bit. As a music Major I try to practice anywhere from in between 2-3 hours a day. I've noticed that these strings not only break in after about a day or two of playing, but that they respond easily on my violin. Easily one of the best string sets on the market for about $45-$60. My only thing with them is their longevity. They last about 4-5 months and then they start losing brightness little by little. Still though for the price unparalleled quality. If your looking for something brighter and more focused than Dominants, definitely give this set a try.

My violin is a master series Gliga violin and these strings bring out the quality of the violin best. I play classical..traditional Hungarian rhapsodies. I’ve used more expensive philharmonic strings which tended to sound Tinny or flat. These particular strings I found work best and are philharmonic quality. The E string..which is always tricky to find sounds awesome. I’ve used them for over 3 years now. The price is awesome for the quality of the strings. Whether the violin is a beginners..a masters or a Stainer label...these strings always sounded best.

My wife is an amateur violinist who enjoys practicing about twice a week for an hour or so. She owns a relatively inexpensive violin and every so often she has to replace the strings. Upon the recommendations from her tutor, a professional violinist with over 30 years of experience, we purchased this Vision set of violin strings. Her tutor says that these strings preserve a richness of sound for many months that other strings often only offer for the first few weeks or months. He helped my wife to install these strings and they do indeed sound more vibrant than the no-name strings she replaced. With the end result that several months later she is learning new compositions and still enjoying a richness of sound from her violin. And if that makes her happy, then I am as well. Five stars so far for these Vision violin strings.

The media could not be loaded.  I have been using these strings for five years, playing with them several times a week in a variety of small venues and also in daily practice in various folk fiddle styles. I continue to use them for several reasons. I enjoy the sound quality. They last quite a while and break-in quickly, staying in tune without repeated drastic tuning sessions. Finally of the strings I've tried, these are the most stable for outdoor playing in a variety of weather conditions, meaning they'll stay in tune, for the most part, despite temperature and humidity.

12-12-17A is unraveling, I got this set because the year old one the A was unraveling so now the same problem, but it's not a year and he hasn't play the same because the violin teacher has been away so I guess this set wasn't as good as the 1st one. I am going to try other kind if strings.UPDATEDI bought this set of strings in July 2016 and I just had to buy a new set at the end of April. Only a was starting to show wear, but I decided to change the set. My son plays violin 6 days a week for 40 to 50 minutes all year round. When you put them on they settle easily and they need very little tuning the first two weeks. I am very happy with them. Great for a learning violinist.🎼got them last week, change my sons old violin strings and what a difference. They have a great smooth, loud sound.

I am new to replacing strings however, I can say that it was very easy to use and came highly recommended from my teacher who uses these strings.

As an habitual user of Thomastik Dominant violin strings I thought these might be better than half as good as they are more than half the price, but not as much as Dominants. Tried them for as long as my ears could bear it, which wasn't very long. Maybe I am spoiled - my beginners violin kit only cost £99 but was quite a decent violin strung with Dominants. My current violin is a big step up and was strung with expensive Pirastros when I bought it, which were very nice but not nearly nice enough to justify the difference in cost between them and Dominants. But Dominants are just so, so much better than the Vision strings!

Me gustan estas cuerdas para violin eléctrico, Dan una sensación de grip similar al acústico, la respuesta y un sonido más enfocado.Depende del estilo de música, no me gustan para rock, en ese caso unas metálicas.

Ich verwende die Saiten für eine Zeta-Strados E-Violine. Für meine Zwecke sind die Saiten super, vor allem mag ich sie mehr als die Dominant-Saiten von Thomastik, weil die Saiten meiner Meinung nach besser zu spielen sind - sind weicher und der Klang ist auch sanfter. Vor allem bei der E-Saite finde ich den Klang angenehmer (quietscht nicht so leicht). Ich nutze die Saiten in erster Linie für meine E-Violine für Jazz und Hardrock, allerdings habe ich jetzt auch einen Saitensatz für meine klassischen Violine verwendet - hier spiele ich aber nicht so oft, daher habe ich hier auch noch keine Erfahrungswerte, wie sich die Saiten bei "normalen", klassischen Einsatz bewähren - hier folgt aber noch ein Update, wenn ich wieder mehr klassisch spiele.

Bonjour, j’ai reçu les cordes rapidement. J’avais acheté un violon avec les cordes « basiques », la corde de sol n’était jamais réglée correctement jusqu’à ce qu’elle casse ! Et là miracle, j’ai changé les 4 cordes facilement, et le réglage des cordes à été très agréable et facile ! Et alors le son n’a absolument rien à voir, c’est tout simplement le jour et la nuit, les cordes sont de bien meilleures qualités, cela se voit en comparaison de l’épaisseur et du son produit, je vous recommande ce jeu de corde !
