Excellant piece of kit, well made, well designed, a pleasure to use compared to other stands on the market, simple to square tree up and very sercure when in place.

Purchased the medium stand, weighs 5kg, (that's approximately 11lbs in old money). We had a 2.1m/ 7ft nordman tree, placed in the stand, the lever ratchet with a single cable is easy to operate and held the tree perfectly stable. There’s a water reservoir with a gauge to indicate when at correct level. Topped it up once in 3 weeks, very few needles dropped and in a room with a woodburner. No more faffing around with 3 or 4 securing bolts as on our previous stand. Yes it's fairly expensive, however I expect this to last for years, excellent build quality throughout, well worth the expense. Highly recommended.

Good quality stand. I purchased this one after a different make failed to hold up my Christmas tree. It feels substantial and easy to use.

I must begin by complementing the seller of this product who was most prompt in resolving my issue on this item which was in no way their fault..A seller of the real Christmas tree we purchased this year advised us of the simplicity and ease in use of this stand so as my wife and I are not getting any younger we decided to buy this stand to alleviate prolonged bending in fitting and adjusting the screw brackets on our old stand..This is so easy to use and it took no more than 30 to 60 seconds to insert and lock the tree in place..The first delivery we had we were out so I left a note for the delivery company to "PLACE!!" it behind our five foot gates on our driveway which were left unlocked.. On our return we saw our package behind the driveway gates and assumed (wrongly) everything was good.. My suspicion was aroused on picking the package up and could hear items of plastic rattling around inside the box... On getting indoors and carefully opening the box and removing the stand the lever pedal was completely smashed rendering the stand useless!... On checking my Ring doorbell the delivery driver could be seen going to our gates and you could hear the parcel being dropped OVER the gates and crashing to the floor!! You see it on TV but you don`t expect it to happen to you...In fairness to this seller there was no reluctance or dispute upon messaging them to advise what happened and they immediately authorised an identical replacement stand to be sent out.. This time I ensured I was at home when the parcel arrived and thankfully this one is in perfect working order and is a brilliant piece of kit...So in conclusion 5 stars to the seller.. needless to say 0 points to the delivery company!!!!

I purchased this tree stand in December 2018. I probably didn't need the XXL size but my old stand (thumb turn screw type) had failed and this was the only size available for delivery before Christmas. I've just now set up what is this stand's 8th tree. Over the years, I've used various types of stand and they have all failed, through corrosion or cracking. This stand is the most expensive I've bought but genuinely it has been worth every penny. It's construction suggests that it will last for a very long time, however, were it to fail, I'd buy another without hesitation. Essentially, you place the tree in the stand and operate the handle to tighten the jaws. The jaws self-adjust for unevenness in the trunk and and the tree stays absolutely upright. It is a totally stress-free experience. The water chamber holds around 9 litres of water when full and there's an indicator which shows the water level, so it can be topped up as required. When the season ends, it is simple to remove the tree - I just rinse out the stand, dry it and store for another year.

Fantastic tree stand! Our previous cheaper metal stand sprung a leak after only 2 years use, and after shopping about, this seemed like the best option for a long term replacement. A bit pricier than standard tree holders but boy was it worth it! Putting the tree up was SO QUICK and easy to do, and we actually had a Christmas tree standing straight for the first time ever! It felt super sturdy and stable, even with a cat interfering with the tree! The tank was super useful too, held plenty of water and latest a few days between top ups which was much more efficient than previous stands which required topping up at least once a day. The little indicator was useful to keep an eye on the water levels too.

My daughter bought this for an artificial Christmas tree in desperation after we lost the original base during renovation works, and having had no luck with 4 other stands we purchased. I realised it was meant for real trees, but my daughter who isn't as experienced in reading between the lines of product descriptions thought it might work for artificial too, as it didn't state grown trees only.We were hopeful when we received the package, as it was very heavy. On opening we could see that the mechanism is (and proved to be in used too) very easy to operate, she was able to put up a 7 foot very wide/full tree on her own.It's not ideal, as the artificial tree pole is narrower and smoother than the trunk it's intended for, and we did have to fiddle a bit to get the tree to be as perpendicular as possible, the spike in the base was a bother as the tree base had 4 little hollow bits at the bottom, so none of them were central. However once the right balance was found the product worked really well. Previous years with an excitable rag doll lumberjack have seen the tree felled several times, resulting in it being tethered to the plumbing but still being rather wonky and wobbly during full on assault. This year it withstood our dear beast scaling it to the top on a few occasions, not to mention enthusiastic pawings, and rub rubs from our other 4 moggies, without so much as a bauble lost.A bit pricey, but worth it.

This is a very clever product and easy to use. The first one that arrived was damaged and didn’t work. This was replaced and now very happy with my purchase. Quite expensive to start with but an investment worth making. I know that I will use it for years to come and trust the design to be sturdy and reliable. Good to be able to top up the water reservoir in the bottom which I am sire helped the tree to stay a little healthier for longer. Make sure you look at the sizing before buying and make sure you get one that will accommodate the size of your tree. You can adjust with the clever but simple mechanism.

Génial ce pied de sapin, très simple a mettre en place. Le serrage à pied est très pratique et ça tient très bien pourtant mon sapin fait 2m50 de haut et plus d'un mètre de large. Nous avons retirer l'écorce du pied du sapin pour qu'il puisse bien s'impregné d'eau. Nous avons acheté notre sapin le 25 novembre 2018 un Nordmann et le fait qu'il puisse rester les pieds dans l'eau pendant plus d'un mois est très pratique, du coup, nous sommes le 30 décembre 2018 et mon sapin est hyper bien hydraté, ses branches ne tombent pas sont restées bien horizontale. Pratique le réservoir d'eau et très bonne contenance, environ 3 litres. Nous avons du le remplir deux fois car nous avons un sol chauffant. Enfin un pied de sapin qui va durer longtemps, très longtemps.

I just got this out to prepare for the second year and I thought I had to go back and leave a review. This stand is perfect and well worth the cost. The set up is so simple and the weight of the stand helps stabilize the tree. This is to much better than those screw in supports. Seriously, spend the money this is worth it

Quickest you will ever put up a tree.The water level indicator gets stuck and can’t be relied on. Though a quick push on it will fix it.

In Italia é complicatissimo trovare chi vende la base per albero separatamente....e se ti si rompe perché mal saldata ad albero appena acquistato diventa un problema da risolvere. Questa azienda produce basi per albero che funzionano grazie ad un meccanismo semplice e molto robusto. Il mio albero di Natale misura 2 mt di altezza, e questa base ha svolto egregiamente il suo lavoro sorreggendo perfettamente l'albero (non importa il diametro perché regolabile).
