Wilton Cookie Press, Simple Success, 13 Pieces Silver 2104-2627

I'm not sure why so many negative reviews. Those people either have no idea how to bake or they just want to keep the item and get their money back also. The press is very sturdy and very easy to use. Plenty of disc shapes to chose from and the whole process is actually very relaxing. Click click and before you know it you have delicious warm homemade biscuits or cookies in front of you. Cleaning a bit fiddly but i refuse to complain just for that. Here's a recipe also, for those who keep complaining. 400g plain flour 250g soft butter 100g icing sugar 1 egg Vanilla or lemon extract 1/2 tsp salt Mix everything together (i use a stand mixer) and voila! Perfect cookies every time. If you want chocolate cookies, add 40g cocoa and 1 extra egg to the mix,

I bought this as I make a LOT of dog treats and sometimes want a fancier shape than the rectangles I make with the pizza cutter. What I loved Once you get used to the size of 'sausage' you need to fill the barrel it is so quick and easy Oh my word this is so darned quick, I was rattling out a tray after tray of beautifully shaped treats in no time at all Easy to take apart and clean Even when loaded it didn't weigh too much If you want bigger biscuits some of the shapes can be double clicked - you will lose a little of the definition but you gain more biscuit As long as your dough isn't too firm clicking the handle doesn't take too much pressure, young kids could easily do it with the mix I used Points to Note If you are doing a large batch plan on refilling it fairly regularly - not too much of an issue as you can fill it so quickly Dough should be a dryish texture and not too firm. If it is too wet or sticky I would think using the press would be a waste of time as it would clog up if too sticky or not hold shape if too wet, and if it is too firm you could break the press. (This is the only reason I've given a 4 star rating instead of 5 star because with the right texture of dough it is 5 stars all the way) Consider what you will be baking the biscuits on - I started trying to use silicon baking sheets on my baking tray and the mix didn't stick so I couldn't get the shape. Took the sheets off and it worked just fine direct onto the cookie sheet baking tray Word of Warning You may be so disappointed when you realise you have run out of dough and can no longer press the pretty cookies that you whip up another batch just to keep going :oD

Rubbish. DO NOT BOTHER. Bought this last year toake spritz cookies for Christmas. They came out ok, not the best depth or shape, but they worked. Used this one time. Put it away in a plastic tub until this year. Got it out did a few cookies and the base cracked. There is absolutely no way I could have caused the crack. It just stopped working and I finally figured out it. Not even used it twice and it broke. Can't use it because this can no longer screw tight.

Lovely product, easy to use, key point is right dough and making sure you pack it full, 1st time using something like this and after few misshapen cookies got the grip of it.

It’s a shame as the material is great but it makes the job even more difficult. The gun is temperamental. But I discovered that if you press 1.5 or twice it sometimes work. I think only one design was a success. All the other discs was a hit and miss. You also need to fit the discs the right way up if not there’s a tendency that the dough will leak and damage the disc. At first use this happened as it was a bit confusing which was the right way up.

We loved this, it made baking with kids less messy and the results were so good, the kids were very impressed with their cookies.

This press was working so well until one of the disc’s and the area where the disc sat cracked. I loved using this cookie press so much and made me sad that I couldn’t find another one to purchase. As I was processing a return, Wilton offered to re-send a replacement. Now that’s great customer service! Will definitely buy from them again in future. So I gave them a 5 star review.

Estoy fascinada. Llego en fecha :), enseguida lo usé; es muuuy fácil de usar, sólo seguí las instrucciones; hice la receta de las pastisetas que es muy similar a la receta que aparece en la caja, es una masa muy ligera por lo cual pasa bien por las perforaciones, como se ve quedaron muy bien las galletas, sólo usé 3 discos. El único chiste es no despegar la prensa de la charola, hacer el disparo y levantar :), lo recomiendo.

Very impressed on how well this works. It actually works better then my pampered chef one. It’s easy and fun to use. Great design. Good size and makes great cookies.

Sehr einfach zu bedienen. Mit dem richtigen Teig klappt es sehr gut.
