By all means this is a great quality pick
By all means this is a great quality pick. I do much prefer the hotter Hot Rails SHR-1 - but that's a matter of preference.I tried this on bridge for my strat SSS together with Kinman noisless and I find these various tones just do not work together on one guitar - there is some 'inconsistency' if I may say so in the way this pick sounds no OD or distortion - the sound is not distorting smoothly and homogeneously, but contains some harsh particles popping out here and there. The idea was to have this dedicated to crunch/mid/high(ish) gain solos. The hot rail gives that OMG smoothness to the sound and I feel like that it was made to compliment the single coils it's not even louder than my Kinmans. But it's up for you to decide.
