Tower T838005B Rectangular Sensor Bin with Fingerprint Proof Coated Exterior, Plastic, 50 L, Black

When I read the mixed reviews about this bin, I was a bit unsure but I desperately needed an alternative than hanging a bin bag on my kitchen door. The dog was always getting stuff from it. I don't have much room for a bin in my kitchen so I needed something slimline but large enough for a family of 4 household with a cat and a dog.I have had this bin for a month now and I love it. I really like the fact that it is an automatic close system, so you don't have to touch the bin at all. It is really easy to operate and clean. It fits in a small space and I've turned it so it doesn't sense people walking past it. The sensor seems to be working well and I'm still using the original batteries (these are not included).The only awkward thing is trying to keep the lid open longer. It is possible if you make sure you stand in front of the sensor when emptying stuff into the bin. This will keep it open until you walk away.I would buy this bin again and it was a good price when I purchased it from Amazon.I just need to figure out a way of stopping my dog purposely using his nose to use the sensor to open it! Hahaha!

But after reading more reviews took the risk of buying it finally for the price of 50litre capacity this one is best. the body is good, smooth lid open and large opening as well.The sensor works fine don't need to wave it for closing, it will close after we move away from the bin. which is actually the best part.I'm satisfied untill now.

It arrived quickly and it’s very easy to put together (it did take me a while, plus the instructions, to work out the right way to get the bin bag around the ring as I’ve never had a bin like it before).The sensor is occasionally very sensitive, and other times I have to wave my hand a couple of times - I’m not sure if this is me getting to know where the sensor is, or the sensitivity itself.I definitely wouldn’t say it’s “soft close” - it got the back of my hand the first couple of times I used it, not enough to hurt, just good to know. As you can see in the video it doesn’t stay open for very long (4-5 seconds) and closes with quite a “snap”. It would be good if it was actually a soft close and stayed open a little longer, as it’s closed on me a couple of times while scraping a plate or chopping board.Other than those minor points, it’s a good quality bin.

Really easy to change bag inside no struggle pulling a full rubbish bag out ,Easy to clean I have had 3 metal bins over past 10 years that have rusted and crumbled or sensor hinge rusts and breaksI finally decided to get a plastic bin ,and so glad I finally changed over. it’s been by far the best and larger capacity and wide opening definitely a better improvement on any spills crumbs missing the hatch

I have had my sensor bin just under 12 months and the mechanism has already stopped working. Not very long lasting for the price.

I already had a sensor top bin but it had seen better day's so sent for this one. It's easy put together and very hygienic because you don't touch the bin, just wave your hand at the front of it and opens automatically. Love this bin and holds stacks of rubbish.

Seems pretty sturdy and the automation works well. How long will it last? Time will tell.I will say, when I first got it I had an issue where the bin only opened a few centimetres. I actually thought it was faulty, but of curiosity I re seated all the batteries and it has worked perfectly since. I've seen a couple of people complaining about the same fault, so I assume there is a bit of an issue with the battery compartment.

Ottima pattumiera automatica. Molto capiente. Un po' ingombrante (ctrl le dimensioni!) ma davvero ottimo acquisto.
