Lasted just under two years
The first one of these blew in just under two years which I think is good for the money. They give off a good light, helpful if you like to watch things cook.

How long will this one last!
I don't know if it's my oven or if this is just the way it is, but I seem to go through these fairly quickly. About every 4-6 months they just seem to pop. You can easily see the filament has just broken away from the connecting road and thus brakes the circuit. I wish there was an LED alternative, but alas I've not found one yet. So I tend to buy two, keep one safe and then when they go, order up another set. Other than that, they are pretty good. A little yellow tint, but nothing unexpected. Arrived quick as per Prime expectations. Just wish they would last a bit longer...

Does the job
The bulb is everything you would expect it to be. Go for a 40W, not 25W, then it will be bright enough to see through the oven door whilst you are cooking. I gave it only one star for ease of installation. That isn't the fault of the bulb, which is easy to install... Getting the glass cover off is a nightmare.. You will be encouraged to buy an expensive specific 'cover removal tool'... Let me say that this is the only oven bulb I have ever had to change in decades. You will probably never use the 'special tool' again and it will be lost in your garden shed.... Look on YouTube and you will find numerous 'bodges' to get the cover off for free. I put some PVC tape around the jaws of an adjustable pipe wrench (which most of us have in our toolbox) and it worked a treat...

If this fits your oven, it's right for you
My oven has two different bulbs, one for the small top oven / grill, and one for the large bottom oven. Bulbs are easy to find for the top one, but those for the bottom oven are hard to come by, and this bulb is the one I need. They last for ages - obviously this depends on how much you use the oven though - and changing them is a matter of unscrewing the glass dome to reveal the bulb, unscrew the old bulb, put the new one in, and replace the dome. At this price it's worth buying a couple each time you need a replacement so you've got a spare to hand.

NEFF Oven Replacement
After a quick read for which lamp to use I found this one which would fit. The old bulb was a pain to remove but after running the oven for weep minutes then trying when hot the cover eventually came free. It looks very similar to the one that came and looked a quality built item. Hopefully it'll perform well. To install was easy. I put on some gloves so not to get oily finger marks on it and it screwed in no bother. I'll see if that helps with longevity and report back in 6 months or so.

Perfect for 25 year old Mathmos Astro Lava lamp
Absolutely over the moon as this has brought the lava lamp I got for my 21st back to life!! Works perfectly even though the wax had been cold and hardened up in the loft for years. Brilliant!
