Switch off power ( main fuse box) and your good to replace that broken heating element. Once fitted run a 20 min heating cycle to remove any smell from the new part. Job ✔️ 👍

I wanted to save myself some money as we all do nowadays so when my heating element in my cooker went I decided to repair it myself.I started by taking out my broken heating element and matching it to a new heating element so I didn’t get the wrong type. It arrived quickly and was really easy to fit I had originally took a picture of the heating element so I knew what leads attached to the prongs and fitted it easily and it works perfectly just in time to cook a Christmas dinner and cheaper at half the price as most appliance repair companies charge £50 plus any charges for parts.Would definitely recommend

I asked TCB if this fitted AKZ507/NB model, and was told that it didn't, but I had ordered already - price wasn't bad so took the risk.I did actually do a bit of research against another supplier to see what element fitted my cooker and then looked at the models TCB listed, so that if the same model on the TCB website also fitted the element that I had selected for my cooker on another supplier website, I thought I cant go far wrong. 2000w and 2 bars is also key.I cant say it was easy to fit as my husband took an age - but that was because he let the wires go in behind the cooker, so he had to take all the back off the cooker - even the oven door had come off!. He said he would know next time how to do it better, should we need to replace again. Other reviewers have said it took no time at all to fit.Anyway it works well. Just a note that there is a burning smell when you first turn the cooker on as well, but this goes after about 20 minutes. Good price and works!

I bought this part (heating element) for £6.90! which is an absolute bargain. Amazon delivered on time as expected. The item arrived well packaged in a cardboard box with sufficient padding to protect it. Not much to say about the product, it is a lump of coiled metal it just works.However, this has saved me way over £90 as I was quoted close to £100 for an engineer to come out and have a look at my broken oven. It was easy enough to install (turn your electrics off), remove 3 screws to get the metal back plate off, then 3 screws to remove the heating element. Connect the new one and repeat in reverse order. Check Youtube for video tutorials. Very simple!Now the oven is operating without issues! In my haste to fit the part and test it out, I forgot to take photos of the new element. The included photo is of the old part removed, whilst I was comparing and fitting, they looked similar with the old one just being a bit corroded. I recommend this product.

Heavy use won’t last very long but low and moderate use will keep longer. In any case amazing value price wise and easy to fit.

I have an ignis oven and the old element was burnt. I bought this and a friend of mine was kind enough to install it and my oven works great again. I'm very pleased.
