Excellent board game, highly recommended
Really good way of learning to communicate without talking! Very interesting and unique game. Everyone can play this. Good value and arrived promptly.

worthy winner of many prizes!
I had heard from others that this game is really good. I finally bought it, and they were right! Super fun.No wonder everyone who talks about it says it's great.Lot's of good boardgames are complicated and hard to learn. The good thing of Magic Maze is that you start playing quite immediately with simplified rules, and gradually build up the rules. New players can get straight into it, and experienced players can get all the quality. It has lots of missions, so I think I won't be getting board of this game for a long time!!The single player mode is really fun too, and I've been doing that a few times. The game can be played by 8 (actually 9!) players, which makes this a great party game.Only issue I have is the theme. The aim of the game is to rob a mall and get out before the security guards come. I couldn't explain this to my son, so I changed the narrative slightly to "we are getting back the treasures the baddies stole from us, and get out of their house before they realize."I never buy anything in it's original price, but with this game, I happily payed the full price, and I can assure you that it was worth every penny!

Fun, fast, frantic co-op multi player!
Great tile laying co-op game; a unique experience where you don't take turns or talk. So many hands... You can almost hear the cogs spinning in each other's heads as you try to work together, though this doesn't always happen! Each game takes on average 10 minutes but can be over in 3 if you don't pay attention to the timer. Fast turnaround of a game means everyone wanted to play it again and again straightaway as we tried to master the maze. Lots of replayability: the game feels different depending on who plays. Manual includes tutorial missions and then ramps up the difficulty as you become more in sync with your fellow players, adding in more ways to confuse you - which only adds to the hilarity as you remember you are not allowed to talk or gesture.

Quick, fun game suitable for all ages
I have had loads of fun with this game at multiple different player counts, although I haven't tried this solo. Magic Maze is a very fast game and has already given my gaming groups some of our most memorable moments. The mechanics of the game are very easy to pick up and the rulebook is excellent, with lots of different pre-set scenarios with very clear setup instructions. All together a really fun, family friendly game - and as you need to keep silent the vocal frustration (and cussing) is kept to a bare minimum/is non-existent!

Do something!
I've played Magic Maze with friends and with my children and it worked well with both groups. It's surprisingly exciting to complete the game against the clock without being able to speak to each other. Everyone enjoyed banging the 'do something' pawn on the table to get another's attention. Each game only lasts a few minutes but we were happy to play several games in a row. There are 17 scenarios of increasing complexity so I'm hoping it will keep our interest for some time to come. The game might be better if the tiles were slightly larger, and the numbers to identify which tiles to use in a scenario are small and hard to read. But younger players didn't find this a problem so it might be due to my advanced age.

Great fun for most ages
This game is great fun! As a group of 25-27 year olds we really enjoyed it. There are 27 different versions of the the game in this edition so you can change up the difficulty level and not get bored of the same game all the time. It is very easy to understand

Great fun. A must buy.
Really enjoyed playing this! Your each in control of moving a component in one direction only and you need the others to help you move the counters around the board discover tiles and escape before the timer runs out! Sounds simple but when you can only communicate by placing a counter in front of the person you want to activate their movement it get very difficult. Great fun.

Great game
Fun clever game. Seems difficult to start with but it is actually a simple game, just some cooperation needed between everyone

Fun co-op family game - 1-8 players
This game tests your spatial ability and reasoning powers. This is great for all ages. We played it through a number of times allowing discussion and without the timer, which is good for learning. Then the timed silent rounds were very fun, and sort of suspenseful even. I don't think it would be that fun playing solo, but any number of players 2-8 would be enjoyable. There's variety every time supplied by adding the boards in different orders, and as you increase in familiarity, there are more boards to bring more rules into play. All the pieces are clearly marked so it's easy to do set up for any number of players. This game should last families a good long time! It's a bit on the pricey side, but everything is well made and will last through a lot of use, so I think it's fair.

New family fave
This game is so fun. Novel concept with no talking allowed (read: no kids fighting!) Love the board-builder aspect and the fact that the game is different every time. Rules are fairlt simple, although the actual game play takes a few rounds to acclimate to. Overall, this is a highly recommended addition for any game table!

Missing critical game piece!
Ok, this is a really clever and fun game. So, why the low rating? Quality Control failure on the production of the game. Opened the game and there was no TIMER!!! The timer is crucial to the game. We were able to work around the issue using two cell phone timers, but it really detracted from the gameplay. Being able to simply flip a sand timer would have been much better.Great idea guys, but you have to be able to deliver the complete product.
