I have a problem with my knees which makes it almost impossible for me to exercise, putting me into a bit of a vicious circle. I decided to try an EMS machine to build up some muscle on my legs to help support my failing joints, without actually putting any pressure through my knees themselves. After a lot of careful research to ensure that I was getting an EMS machine and not just a TENS machine, I tried a couple of other bits of kit - and was very disappointed. Neither came anywhere near delivering any kind of muscle contraction and I was beginning to get bored of the idea of spending yet more money on another machine that was not going to do what I needed. And THEN! I was watching a video on Youtube (thanks Hat Films! ) where some people tried to complete challenges wearing this very Heartline kit. Seeing how obviously effective it was, I bought one straight away and have not been disappointed. Does exactly what I need it to and I could feel the muscles beginning to strengthen after the first couple of uses. Very very pleased!

Product is presented well in a zip case. Have not used it much, but so far have found the belt to function well. The only slight downside to the settings, is the pulse functions are not fully explained. I.E. drumming, slapping, plastic waste. It would be better if these functions could be explained in how they affect you in a fitness sense. The arm belts are very strong at a low setting, but the abs belt has to be set quite high to feel an impact.

This has got to be the most underpowered muscle stimulator of all time, I mean you would get more stimulated if you removed just one of the AAA batteries from the controller and put your fingers on each end! There is a small tingle but that really is it, and the left/right arrow buttons for the programs are backwards as well.. meaning you have to push the left arrow to scroll right!

It does work, especially since I already have abs so it helps accentuate them, not sure how well it will work if you have lot of fat present. Only issue is my waist is 27inches, although it is the minimum it really is too big, doesn't make much sense since if you have lot of abdominal fat this will not reduce it, nor will you see toned abs so should make them smaller since people who want to be toned following exercise are likely to have a smaller waist anyway. I resolved this issue by using safety pins to shorten the strap but it is annoying. Also doesn't make any sense why timer shuts off after 10 minutes? when youre meant to use for 30 mins, really irritating having to turn on 3 times and putting it up to the highest setting each time. For what it is and having to not replace the pads, I would say it is a good value for money.

This is a brilliant exerciser for tums arms and thighs, my problem was the wiring to the belt from the controller started to show through.

Ordered on a sunday, delivered on the next day (bank holiday monday), box intact, items bubble wrapped, all items advertised are complete, the straps, controller, pads, even the case are from initial appearance good quality, i shall further update on use, from first impressions i`m happy at this stage,

Wasn’t sure what to expect for the price but not disappointed. Really does work the muscles, powerful and I am only operating it at level 35 so far ... no gel needed either which is great. Water works fine!

I've gave 4 stars as I'm been pestered to leave a review even tho it's a product that could or would take a few weeks to see if it's having a affect. I might have been more favourable in a few weeks but meh looks like a ok product that I that's I got mainly for the atm pads.
