The box i received states the bulbs are 6w and only 550 lumens. the colour temperature is given as 2700k. has anyone else had this problem?

The ones I received are rated as 8.5w and a claimed 806 Lumens. They are as bright as a traditional 60w incandescent lamp. The colour temperature appears higher than 2700k to me, I would say they were more like 3000k.

Are these spot lights pearl

The plastic front of these bulbs is translucent not transparent. Therefore the light is scattered in the same way as an old fashioned pearl incandescent bulb.

Is the R63 bulb the same as the 60 w R64 bulbs

Hello, The R63 size smaller than R64, which don't affect the usage, the bulb's size was : 102mm*63mm.

Can I use these in the bathroom or above a shower?

Certainly. I recently replaced 3 60watt spot bulbs in the bathroom. One directly above the shower, no problems at all
