We back onto a woods and hang 3 bird feeders at the top of our garden. As most people are aware squirrels also love the food and have damaged quite a few of our feeders even though they have their own shelf……not this feeder! I’d be lying if I said the squirrels don’t feed from it but it’s tough and they don’t manage to destroy or empty it like most others. The birds get plenty of seed/worms whilst the squirrels are busy on this one, they feed on the others or when the squirrels clear off there is plenty of food left so all happy. I would recommend if you’ve finally given up trying to stop squirrels and accepted they are part of the feeding frenzy!

A nice-looking and sturdy bird feeder, but quite expensive and rather big. It is quite useless to fill it completely because the seeds start to rot and they get moldy after a week or so. To sum up, I don't think I would buy this bird feeder again.

This feeder is on the ground and it supplies my ground feeding birds well, including a visiting pheasant everyday.It doesn't need filling often and withstands winds and rain incredibly.I had it in the tree but moved it ground level as a experiment to see what feeds.Doves blackbirds all the usual and tge pheasant also seen some large thrushes and such. Well pleased.

Item is great. Very popular with small birds. The bird rests surrounding the feeder is ideal to perch on. Would recommend as it also holds a lot of peanuts on one filling.

Though lovely looking and sturdy, the feeder is much too big. This may not sound like a bad thing, but the feeder is so wide and so deep that the vast majority of it (the tray especially) simply cannot be accessed by the birds, so the seeds just sit there and rot. And given the size of it/the amount of seeds that can go in, you won’t be able to clean it too frequently. The design is simply terrible.If you love your birds, don’t buy this feeder; get a smaller one.

Birds are little wary , pidgeons cannot land o it, would like to have sections for a variety of food

Brought this because it said even bird seed can go in it but as you can see from my pic, sred can not be used so only use peanuts
