Handles ECX Outlet Screws Nicely
This is the bit needed that should be included with the expensive Klein screwdrivers. Quality double ended #1/2 ecx with typical Klein fit and finish. Fits outlet and switch wire screws securely and doesn't slip out of the screw head. A bit pricey but works perfectly on ecx screws.

These are AWESOME! With one small annoyance
Nothing bad I can say about this tool bit. These should have been invented DECADES ago. My brother in law who is retired from construction had never heard of them. Solves all the issues with tightening the screws on the side of electrical outlets. It fits in and does not shift, and you get the full torque of a straight blade screwdriver without the sideways slippage issue. The only annoyance for me was that since it was a double-ended bit, it would not fit in my screwdriver handle. I had to take a Dremel tool and cut off one end, then it fit fine. SInce you get two bits, you could do this with both and have one small and one large. I can't imagine ever wearing one out because they lock in so securely. So the only reason I would need a second would be if I lost the first. How often have you lost one and knew where the second one was? LOLYou can buy a dedicated screwdriver in this configuration but it is much more expensive. If you have a 1/4" nutdriver with a DEEP recess you could use this bit without cutting it off as I had to do. All said this is an EXCELLENT addition to my tool collection! Wish I had found this 20 years ago.

Great driver for those combo screws. Does not fit most bit holders, but...
If you need to deal with the combo slotted/Philips head screws, this thing is a great driver bit, especially if you have the matching Klein driver tool, which I do not. I have a bunch of different 1/4 inch hex bit holders, but these double ended bits don't work in them. Since this product is a package of two, my solution was to cut one end off of each one, using an abrasive cutting disk in my hand held grinder, ending up with two bits that fit my tools. The bits work great compared with using a flat or Philips driver on electrical stuff. By the way, judging from the extra time it took for the abrasive disk to get through these bits compared with cutting a typical 1/4 inch alloy bolt, these things are pretty hard, so I expect they will last.

Klein tools. Need I say more
If you do any kind of electrical work especially in those unavoidable over reach places we all find our selves in from time to time but in a safe position”yes OSHA” safe position then this is the bit for you! It’s positive lock on the screws allows effortless torque with less chance for slippage than an ordinary flat head or Phillips head driver. Use them almost daily ! While you’re reading this review go ahead and drop one or two in your cart.

When you need this, you really need it
I was replacing some of my switches and outlets and although I must have the greatest and most prolific bit collection in the entire world, none of them fit like they should.Enter the new ecx bits. What a difference. They should include these in the box of outlets.I also have the Milwaukee ones, but these are different. The Robertson part sticks out more, which is better, but they are double sided with a ball detent so it won't fit you typical bit holder. My solution was to get the Klein 10-in1 screwdriver. I replaced the torq bit with this one, I already have torq bits in all my sets and actually never had to use one in my electrical fidgeting. But I have a couple little screwdrivers that are torq only that I got for disassembling my knives so I just threw one of those in my bag just in case. Also, as a public service, I feel this is a good time to mention the jis bit. It looks like a Phillips but it's not.If you are working on an older japanese motorcycle or electronics you may see these fasteners that look like a Phillips, except every Phillips you try cams out and strips. That's because it's not a Phillips, it's "Japanese international standard" which is superior in every way. To make matters even more confusing, the jis bits fit the Phillips even better, but not the other way around.I think the bit sets should replace all those clutch bits that I've never seen in real life, and include ecx bits. It's like they are a secret. Phillips should just go away. So many better alternatives.

Precision Tool Replacement
Purchased set of this bit as it covered both #1 and #2 sizes. Now have one for indoors as well as in the garage tool area. These are precision machined tip designed for use on combination head screws. Great for electrical boxes to better hold and secure the screws or remove stripped screws. You can purchase individual screw drivers or be practical and order the bits as they fit standard multi-driver bit holders. I have other similar products from Klein tools and very happy with them.

electricians must have.
purchased this item for birthday gifts, nephew has been using them for a week and has said he should have known about them sooner, as he uses them with racheting screwdriver and has said he does not have to worry about stripping the screws when tighting.

Excellent for electrical outlets/switch work
These bits perfectly fit standard 110 volt outlet and switch mounting screws, combining a standard Robertson (square) and flat head screw in one. They are particularly useful for offset / one-handed screwdrivers as they hold well through the normal associated turning wobble.

These work especially well on screws with damage to the Robertson section of the screw head.
I work on a lot of older installations where a Robertson screwdriver alone would tend to slip out of the screw head. These bits work perfectly for those instances.
