Cafe Najjar Fine Ground Coffee with Cardamom 200g

The very fine grind makes it just right for making Turkish coffee. A lovely mellow flavour with a fantastic aroma.

Cardamom is not your standard coffee flavour but it works. We don't make it in the traditional Turkish way, we use a cafetiere and it still tastes great. Would definitely buy again

I use this with a paper filter for quickness and it makes a delicious alternative to standard black coffee. Wish I’d discovered it sooner!

Doesn’t feel like 100% arabica. A bit of bad aftertaste

Pre-ground coffee will never taste in any way comparable to freshly ground beans, and as such the two shouldn't be compared. However, the advantage to buying something like Cafe Najjar's product is the convenience. I typically use this around three times per-week before travelling to work to make a Turking/Middle Eastern style coffee. It's much easier than having to grind beans and cardamom at that time of the morning, and the grind consistency in the bag is fantastic and leads to a smooth, tasty coffee to get your day started off right. The amount of cardamom is just nice, enough to flavour your drink without overwhelming the taste of the coffee and leaves a nice aftertaste too. I use a traditional copper cezve to make my coffee (as you should do, or with a small pot if you don't have one), and this product gives a nice crema that holds it's consistency well when transferred into your drinking cup of choice.
