(Fujifilm Instant Print Camera Books) by Cameron, Leslie (ISBN: 9781539018100) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Very disappointed - I wanted to learn more about my camera, which I find a little bit challenging sometimes. I've learnt quite a great deal reading "Instant love", and was super inspired by their examples and quite thorough tips. I was therefore really excited to purchase one solely on my camera to learn even more, and ideally get more inspired. I haven't learnt anything. The technical introduction felt like reading an endless ad for the Instax mini. It's also hugely favouring and overrating the camera, presenting how it's better than everything else (it's not, it has major flaws, and that's ok, just don't lie about it). E.g. : it's very untrue to say the camera can be used any time of the day. After daytime the photos get super dark and blurry or dull and overexposed. The book is in black and white, and any instant pictures showed on the book aren't even from the Instax mini (they aren't the same format...). I found the projects unfun and unoriginal, Although that's a more of a matter of taste. Finally, I was pissed off by the end of the book, celebrating and encouraging positive reviews on desertcart but asking for negative reviews by email "so maybe they can change something about it". That's dishonest. The book is printed. Contrary to the announcement in the book, it's not a series; just the one book. Changes won't happen. But sales will, especially if only positive reviews are posted, no matter how bad the book is. Which is unfair for good books. It's not that expensive, but I honestly feel robbed (of my money AND time). Review: Lovely book - Interesting little book some photo examples would of made it a bit better can't wait to use mine now :-)

Not good for tips on taking photos. Great for ideas on how to use film though.
I thought this would be more about tips to use the camera but 90% of this book is actually fun ways you can use the film. Which sound cook but I was looking for tips and tricks to improve my shots. A little dissapointed.

Lots of ideas!
I got four very useful tips from the book so it was worth a read! Plenty of ideas for you if you yourself have no imagination! Would have liked some pictures in the book.. but the instax film is so expensive I understand why! Love my camera and look forward to trying out the double exposure trick!

So ein ganz nettes Buch, um mal durchzublättern, allerdings fände ich Fotos hilfreicher als nur Text.

In case you don’t know what The Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 is (which seems doubtful as you’re reading this review), it’s an instant camera with which you can shoot a picture and immediately get a genuine paper photo. In concept, it’s similar to the Polaroid, but much easier to use. This book tells you everything you need to know about the Mini 8, which, considering how simple it is, you can read and learn very quickly—what’s great about it, its technical details, how to use it, some tips on how to get “perfect” (not sure about this claim) pictures, and how to keep them from fading. The rest of the book – in fact, most of the book – contains “IDEAS”— for what to take pictures of and what to do with them. Many of the ideas are highly imaginative and may prompt you to take pictures of things and do stuff with them you would never have thought of, such as creating a wedding shower guestbook, travel vacation album, luggage tags, holiday ornaments, day cards, and many, many, more. The author also offers ideas for school projects, fun around the house, and gifts. Very imaginative and creative.

No aconsejo comprarlo.
