A very stylish computer desk for the price Took a little time to assemble but instructions were fine

I have experienced a lot of the things others have pointed out. The instructions are wrong in a number of places. Wrongly numbered components, Draw sliders that do not come apart as they should in order to fix them in place. The section housing the drawer and cupboards is poorly aligned resulting in a draw that fits too tightly. The use of bolts is indicated in one place where clearly screws should be used. If you are patient and use your head rather than the instructions you can get it together and working properly. It comes with surplus screws, bolts and plastic fittings for securing them. I suspect this is because they realise the instructions are wrong and you will wreck a few getting it right. Once together, it is sturdy and does the job and the price is stupidly cheap. Others commment about holes being painted over, in fact it is the plastic laminate coating that has been laid over them. It is easy to deal with, just push the indentation with the point of a screwdriver, the material is pushed into the hole and helps give a tighter fit. I don't think that is intended, but it works. I have purchased other Homcom products that have been excellent so this one is quite disappointing quality by comparison.

Desk is sturdy and was fairly easy to assemble. Only small gripe was that one or two fine details in the instructional diagrams didn't match the supplied pieces exactly. This did not affect or impede the assembly of the desk.

Rubbish instructions, I would have expected better from a child. Seems like they only spent a few moments on the drawings.The quality of the desk was poor and some of the fittings were not constructed very well and did not fit very well.Buyer beware, I bought this for my son and he was really upset with the unfinished desk due to screw holes being in the incorrect location.He is still not using it as the drawer and cabinet door are a “poor fit” and the fittings for the sliding keyboard were a real disappointment; the holes in the table top were in the wrong location!Unless this was a “one off” poor construction then I would certainly NOT recommend this item to anyone that wants the desk to be as good as the picture looked. There is obviously no quality check completed before this product is dispatched.Looking at previous comments going back from 2018 these issues were raised then!! I wish I had checked them before I placed the order, I am surprised that they are still allowed to sell on Amazon.....Real shame, if this could be resolved then I would certainly consider reviewing my rating.

The product was delivered very quickly and the instructions were relatively clear. I found it quite easy to assemble and was very good value for money

This is very difficult to put together desk for a person not used to flat pack furniture assembly and even hard for those who are. The instructions are woeful and some of the writing is so small you need a magnifying glass to read. It would help if stickers were placed on the sides saying which was the top as you can easily get them upside down and then the screws do not fit. It took me around four hours to assemble - I left the first stage - assembling the draw till last which should not be a problem as it is not part of the integrity of the unit but I am having problems getting it slide in fully which is due to where I have screwed the sliders as there are no indentations on the drawer sides. You must open up the screw holes that have been covered up with laminate from the screw insertion side and not through the wood otherwise the laminate fractures and comes away from the board which I found out - it was easily solved with a little wood glue but meant more time in construction. Once built it is quite sturdy and look presentable although mine was bought to go into my heated summer house for work outside when the weathers nice.

I found it easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear. It seems very sturdy and I now have two of these. Good value for money 😀. The main thing I dislike was the delivery service by UPS. They kept postponing the delivery and eventually after a week it came damaged then had to wait another week for replacement and the same delivery problems again. When the replacement was delivered this one had some damage but I managed to rectify the problem rather than sending it back for the second time and having to wait another week making it 3-weeks 😤. So the product was very good but the delivery service was crap and I lost time and money. Thank you ups 😤😤

The size and size it is as described , plus even without the drawer and shelf it is sturdy . But the assembly part toke me almost 3 hours to build. As there were no holes in the drawer peace , and all rest of the holes that required small screw ( such as all 4 runners , doors ) were miss aligned and in incorrect spots , therefore is impossible to fit them in straight with given screws .And will fit them in when I will buy better screws . As well labelling was only in few parts and not on all , therefore it toked longer to figure out which one is which and what whey they should go .In conclusion , if this table would be £30 it would be okay , but for £ 69 it is definitely not worth the hassle.
