Nice mesh gate but definitely not for stairs(Up to Down)
Absolutely fine quality mesh gate if it can be used in kitchen or anywhere except stairs (Up to down). The mesh covers a larger area, the more you stretch the more it becomes saggy/loose, but luckily I don’t have that much space or area to cover in my home :). The retraction is super fast and it might hurt your fingers if you are careless. It’s super scary. The assembly and the instructions are easy to follow and complete. The lock feature is good to hold. I strongly encourage anyone not to use in stairs(up to down) for safety purposes.

Nice looking retractable gate
This mesh gate is very well made and being 122 inches will work to partition off a large sized area inside or outside your home. The one thing I do not like is that this gate must be attached to wall studs so it is not able to be moved around your house as needed when you want a gate and is not portable. This would be good to block off a large area outside but again, this is not portable as it needs to be wall mounted.

Nice looking gate but wouldn't trust for stairs
This is one of the classier looking gates that I have seen. It was very easy to install and is pretty well made. I think it would be best used for trying to keep small children in/out of certain rooms as opposed to keeping them from accessing stairs, as the material is like thicker rubber and could end up giving just enough to allow them to get through. The height is great and I love the color of it but I did notice that it retracts very quickly and is a bit loud. It wouldn't be very hard to get your finger(s) injured if you don't hold onto it properly when you want to retract it. I would worry about this if a small child were to retract it on accident. While it looks very modern, there's something to be said about the hard plastic gates as they might be the most stable/secure option.

simple to use
I have a pool in my backyard and I want to make a fence to separate the pets from the pool for safety reasons. This product is a good choice, enough length, just not too secure. It is relatively friendly to small pets.

Really extends 10 feet! Saggy though.
I have a shorter one that blocks off one side of my kitchen (about a four foot entrance) and wanted a longer one to block off an 8 foot section of my kitchen so I also installed this one. At this length however, I experienced mesh sagging because there's no top/bottom support. It doesn't really affect its usability however it's a little aesthetically disappointing. Make sure you have a stud finder and install directly to the studs. Installation was easy with power tools, if you're looking for something more temporarily you'll want to look elsewhere.

This is Great to Keep Animals Out
I use this across my kitchen entrance. It is great to keep our large dogs out of the kitchen. My 3 year old can crawl under it. So I wouldn't trust to use this on any stairs. Since it can easily be crawled under. It was very easy to install though. I also like that it is almost sheer so you can see what is going on in the other room on the other side of it.

Easy installation and good for standard doorways
This is a good quality baby gate. The retractability of the gate is smooth and it does stretch 10 feet. I think this gate works best for standard door ways because it says when stretched too far out. It’s a nice looking baby gate so it doesn’t distract from the room aesthetic. Overall I think it’s a good value because it’s able to be used in a variety of ways indoor and outdoor and it looks nice.

Works great!
Easy install, durable, retracts smoothly. Easy to use and stores nicely when closed. One handed operation, and adjustable height works great. We needed it close to the floor and it definitely worked for that purpose!
