As fancy as this camera is, I find it disappointing it does not have a way to zoom. It's ultra high resolution, there is plenty available to do a software type zoom, and still have an HD quality picture.The ability of the camera to compensate for tilting is amazing. It's much less able to compensate for bouncing. As a result, I might still invest in some sort of steady cam rig.I'm not very impressed with battery life.

I love the one I have it takes supper good videos and is great for short videos it seems to die really fast. I love all the parts and mounts it comes with. Would definitely recommend it.

I bought this for my son's birthday , he loves it he uses it for mountain biking and he will be using it for kayaking and it gives great video

do not purchase the mini unless you have to. you do not have direct screen access to see what you are doing, what is being captured or what changes do. The hero is worth the extra money, here again, if size is not an issue.

started out great. took it snorkeling and had amazing video. But battery life shortened and shortened and then the display was foggy and it quit working altogether. I did not go into deep water at all, just snorkeled. very disappointed. video was amazing though when it worked
