These are a great value. I purchased them last year and I was able to use them throughout my landscape to secure fabric down under my mulch. They really hold well and they are easy to put in and remove thanks to the tool. I think it was a good value. I'm not a beginning gardener, but have a degree in agriculture and I've been vegetable and flower gardening since my teenage years and I'm 47. Because of the black discs, these are definitely the best landscape staples I've ever used. The fabric doesn't tear and they don't work their way through., plus it's easy to remove and reuse them because they're nice and sturdy.

The item was sturdy, did not keep its coating when using a metal hammer. And the placement holder was about the size of the palm of my hand. Did not bend, and the nails were easy to bend and move if necessary. You want nails to be thick yet bend, as you don't want the item to be accidently piercing anything. Good thought was made for these items. Very easy to apply and use due to buffers holding item in place. Weird problem but I don't know why they put the pointy end near the opening end of the bag but whatever, dumped this item on the weed fabric laid down as a weight and layout scenario anyhow. I am unsure but I think I got more nails. Did not bother counting the buffers either. I would suggest using a rubber mallet, I could not find mine. Very good value, considering I do not plan on pulling these out in 5 years or maybe not even ever.

I purchased these to hold down landscape cloth to be covered by landscape fill (red ground tire schreds). They work absolutely great in this situation. The "washers" hold down a larger area, thereby reducing the possiblilty of the fabric ripping and make the hold down more secure. I have not had any problems with the staples bending. I am sure the hardness of the ground affects this (Dah). The black cover reduces the chance of their being noticed if the landscape fill is thin. I am pleased to use these.

I used these to stake tarps to the ground. I would recommend first wetting the area where you're going to place them. The area where I used them had a lot of buried stones, so I bent several of them trying to force them into the ground. They're a good value, they are easy to use, they're sturdy enough but will bend hitting anything hard in the ground. They're a good size for the purpose I was using them for. The plastic washer secures them and keeps the tarps from ripping out of the ground.

These are really great! Solid, sturdy, high quality. The thing to pull them up if you make a mistake in placing them was fantastic! The little disks are great too. I’ve done a lot of landscaping and using the pins to put down landscape cloth and artificial turf and these are the best by far.

Okay. These are awesome. They are propping up lights. They keep critters out of my containers. The stakes are really long. They are holding down black tarp to smother weeds. I honestly did not think they’d be this handy. You can even keep your water hose from moving all around with them.
