HanesWomen's Cami with Built-in Shelf Bra, Stretch Cotton Camisole, Adjustable Straps

I forget how many times I've bought this tank, or in how many colors over the last few years. Definitely black, also white, and the cyan. It's probably the perfect shirt, and it's definitely at the perfect price.Usually it's my under layer, as it's just long enough to tuck into pants. In the summer I wear these by themselves around the house (like right now). Works fine with or without a bra for extra support on top of the built-in shelf bra. They wash and wear well, although after many washes the black color will fade and the strap elastic will wear out. Not quickly, mind you. You'll get your money's worth, and then you can cut out the shelf bra and have a sleep tank, hair dye top, etc.I'm usually more voluble about products I love, but it's hard to know where to start on something you legit wear like 4+ days a week. Hanes clothes are just so reliable and well-priced that it somehow became part of my uniform as a person. Please never stop making these shirts!!!!

I wish I'd ordered a size down; the straps, though adjustable, still aren't as snug as I'd like, but this top is comfy and flattering, NOT sheer; the shelf bra is comfy offers and some support (but not much). I wore it under a semi-sheer top and it was a very flattering look. Except for my ordering a size too big, it's great!

I’m solidly a Medium in most clothing brands with a 34 F (US) bra size. This top works well for my intended use of pajama top and lazy mornings, but it has a few design flaws. The straps don’t adjust short enough, causing the neckline to hang down and the straps are too flimsy for a shelf bra top. My boobs fit inside the shelf bra pretty well, but because the neckline can’t get lifted enough they shift out sometimes when I’m laying down. The body of the tank is very comfortable and stretchy and fits with a little more length than a lot of tanks on the market right now. I won’t repurchase despite the price, unless they change the design to have the straps fully adjustable like their nursing tank version.

This is a very basic cotton cami with shelf bra. What I like about it is the cotton and this cami won't show ABOVE (in front or back) when I wear a typical outer blouse. Even with the adjustable straps at the shortest length, the thin straps were way too long, which made the cami way too low in front, and exposed too much skin under the armpit. So I shortened the straps 4". (BTW: the strap adjusters are way in the back, impossible to adjust while wearing the cami. The material is nice (95% cotton, 5% spandex), not too thin, not too thick. The cami is stretchy, very form fitting except there's extra material that gaps near the front of the armpits. I bought my regular size, but suspect one size down might have fit better around the bust. The cami was LONG, going below my underwear to my thighs, but shrunk vertically after the first cold water wash and line dry. I found the elastic on the shelf bra to be just right, but in general the shelf bra is not that supportive. Label says made in Mexico. What I do not like is the straps are so thin and even after shortening the straps 4", they're still too long, exposing too much in front. I won't be ordering this brand again.

I've been looking for shelf tanks as I'm small on top (38C) and can skip bras with the right layers. I like to tuck a cami in to hide my pooch and avoid waistband digs. I don't wear camis solo, but visible under various tops: a shirt unbuttoned lower, sports tank, half-buttoned camisole, lower cut blouse or dress, or gauzy boho shirts. I ordered white & lavender, medium (I'm 5'8", usually size medium or 10 if form-fitting)Though the lavender is pretty, I was really annoyed when they arrived - they seemed far too small to wear tucked in which was why I bought them. Then I tried one on. WOW - cool cotton with a plenty of stretch (easily tuckable) but not modal or Spanx-like. VERY COMFORTABLE. I'm here now getting more colors. I'm glad I bought Hanes - so many of the other camis are from overseas companies with no reputation for quality, material, etc.. These wash well - I line dry because it's easier & cheaper and they dry quickly. I wear them often and they still look brand new, no shrinking even with the occasional dryer use.The medium is really for size 36 bra and lower, and the elastic isn't covered. I'm going to get the large to see if it's better. Right now, I just fold the elastic up over the shelf bra and it's much more comfortable. Hanes should cover the elastic though.

So unflattering and a ridiculous fit! What the heck hanes? Is this made for men?I ordered a Large based on reviews but that was a mistake. Im a size 8-10 and a medium would've been just fine. Although after wearing it, Im not sure even a medium would be a good fit. The material first off is so average. But I get it, its $10, cannot expect too much.The straps are HUGE I mean so long! They stretched out like crazy and the adjustable part is so small that even if I adjusted it all the way down, they were still hanging so low. Which makes the entire tank look extremely frumpy and unfit. This has absolutely no support and by the morning I was spilling out of my top. How embarrassing! Im not sure why companies make tops with straps that are so huge, I see this in dresses as well. They try to make them adjustable but they're still too long. Im tired to buying clothes and having problems with cheaply made straps or not adjustable with other sizes in mind. Im 5'8 and taller than most women so if Im having issues with this I cant imagine others who are petit not having any.Not all of us have man shoulders Ok! Get it together Hanes!

Material not too heavy and not too thin, elastic at bottom of Bra a perfect fit.All of them even other ones like these are 1 to 2 inches too long. You have to make sure u have a longer top over them, so have to get my sewing machine out every time to shorten them. I am 5 ft 6” tall. 123 lbs

I received top today and I love it. I’m 5ft 6 and it sits halfway on bum. I’m a funny size but mostly 14 in trousers and 16 - 18 in tops (depending on where I shop) I bought an XL and although it fits lovely I have ordered 2 more in L as I would like them to be a bit more fitted. Lovely material and very comfortable especially when we’re spending most time indoors due to current circumstances in the world. Definitely recommend.
