Nice item, good quality.
I could not find anyone who made one of these designed specifically for my 1998 gsf600 Bandit, so I thought I would give this a go.Fitted easily in under 5 minutes, and in the current very hot weather I hope it will stop my side-stand sinking into the melting tarmac - there is a nice hand sized half inch deep dent where I park at work.As some others have said I was unsure what he rubber pad was for, as it comes with no fitting instructions.I stuck it to the base plate so the foot of my side stand rested on it, to stop the thing sliding off the foot.

Finished edges are sharp, careful. File/grind them down first
Fitted and works a treat. The rubber pad sticks to the bottom of your bike stand's foot.I fitted a "U" shaped bracket between the back nuts and bolts (made out of coat hanger wire, with two eyelets on each end, to fit over bolts/under nuts) to stop it from slipping off accidentally.Also, fitted 4X 10mm bolt caps cover the protruding nuts and bolt threads; finishes it off great!

Is not universal, doesn’t fit all models of motorcycle.
Didn’t fit my Triumph Trophy Se side stand foot plate. Being described as a universal part, I thought that it would fit all makes and models.

my friend was struggling to find a plate to fit his thunderace. with a small modification this went on perfect and did the job

It's universal so won't fit every bike perfectly, still it works on the Triumph Sprint 1050 ST.
It takes a bit of trial and error to get it to locate on the foot of the kickstand properly as there isn't a lot of the original stand that overlaps the top plate.Once tightened up fully though it works perfectly and appears to be strong enough for the job. Used it fully loaded and with a passenger without issue on a weeks tour.Although it gives a wider footprint for stability, that also makes necessary to tip the bike a little more to get it to clear the ground when putting the side stand down when the ground is slightly higher on the left side of the bike. This may mean on occasion you cannot safely use it where you may have used the original stand.
