Amazon Essentials Men's Full-Zip Polar Fleece Vest (Available in Big & Tall)

I love this vest. This is exactly what I was looking for and it was honestly something I have been wanting to purchase for months and never did try to buy one and pulled the trigger on this one. I was a little worried as I've not always had the best luck with this brand but over the years I come back and try it again because I do feel like the quality on some items is over the top. This is one. So far I have had this for two weeks and wear it with mens heavy duty work shirts and spend about 80% of my day outside and wear this vest and it has kept me very warm and limber. It's soft and plush and the pockets and zipper just work. Nothing to fancy and it's also really good looking on me.I seriously broke the mold on good looks. Trust me. I'm a dr.

True to size, comfortable fit

I bought both the Green and the Gray color vest!!The colors:The Gray is very close to the picture shown!!The Green is more of a Christmas Evergreen!!The sizing:You should order a size larger, to be on the safe side!!Garment Quality:Generally, Very Good, particularly it was offered by Amazon as a Deal at around $17 each.Fabric and sewing overall acceptable.I was concern about the zipper, but it is acceptable, it compares favorable to garment of this price range!!I would recommend people buy this garment at the $17 area for each unit!!Delivery:Amazon would not deliver the vest to an Amazon Locker, claiming the vest is too large for the amazon Locker, but the garment would fit in most Amazon Locker compartments of an Amazon Locker Station!!One of the garments that I receiver did not come an Amazon Essential Bag!! This garment came in an Amazon Ready to Ship Bag, and the garment inside was all jumbled, not folded!! It looks like that something that was returned to Amazon after a purchase!! All my other vest purchases came in Amazon Essential Bags, and nicely folded!!I do not want to go through the return process, but will wash this one thoroughly, before wearing it!!This is a big Disappointment with not delivering to Amazon Lockers receive the 1-Star, for Amazon Delivery!!

I found many things to like about this Amazon Essentials Vest. The most important for me is the “fit”. I am 5’-11”, 165 lbs, on the slim side and the Medium fit me perfectly. It is snug, but not tight. The arm opening is just right and does not bind under the armpit, nor is it too loose and floppy. The shoulder width is also well-proportioned. Length is good, not too long. Seams are well-sewn, zippers work smoothly, side pockets are in the right place for you to put your hands in comfortably and are deep enough; a plus are the two inner pockets. The collar stands up or lays flat (and stays there) ,however you like.The only thing I didn’t like is the color I chose: the gray heather makes the vest look a bit dirty and ready for the wash. Speaking of which, I washed mine before wearing, and it did not shrink (cold water, very low dryer heat).The design is basic, not overly stylish, but I bought mine just to wear around the house. The material is on the thin side, but I didn’t want something too thick, heavy and stiff feeling. It has a nice plush feel, both inside and out, including the zippered pockets and is plenty warm enough for my purpose. I am glad I bought it!

Just what I was looking for. Originally, I had purchased two vests from Sears, before they went out of business maybe over ten years ago and have been searching the stores to replace them, but could never find the quality. I took a chance and tried Amazon Essentials, and except for maybe the quality of the zipper, this is basically the same exact vest. I am so delighted that I am going to order another one right now.Getting back to the zipper, I noticed that this vest doesn't come with a zipper made by YKK. Almost every item I have comes with a zipper made by YKK. I have no problems right now because I received the vest a couple of days ago and have been wearing it. But hopefully, it will survive a couple of washes and I won't have issues with the zipper. I read some of the reviews on this vest and some of the one star reviews mention the cheap zipper. I just checked some of my Amazon Essential pants that I purchased over the past couple of months. Their heavier jeans have the YKK zippers, but the thinner material pants don't. I just thought that I would mention that for future reference. With the thinner pants, I notice the zipper doesn't slide as easy. But this isn't a review for the pants and Jeans, but for the vest. I'll just be careful with the zipper and make sure it's totally in at the bottom before trying to run the zipper up. So, I'm staying with my five stars, since the overall quality of the vest is good for the money. The second vest was shipped, and I should be expecting it today.My second one was just delivered. I checked it out. Just as nice as the first.

I like the color and how soft the material is, but it is WAY too big. Size down when purchasing.

ThisAmazon Essentials Men's Full-Zip Polar Fleece Vest is well made, comfortable and warm. And it's a good value. These vests do run large. I usually wear men's size large. I innitally ordered a large, but had to exchange it for a medium.
