Apple products are high end and costly. I would always recommend protecting them and yourself. I got this case for my son's ipad mini just in case he drops it by accident. We all know accidents happen. I feel a little better now that the case is on. The material is sturdy and thick. There's also a screen protector to help prevents scratches. Cheap price for an item meant to protect an expensive device.

Easy to use

My wife has been looking for a new case for her Ipad mini, and when we saw this one she thought it might be a good idea to buy since we have a baby who loves to grab her iPad. The installation was pretty straightforward and easy, took about 2 minutes.The case feels like a hard foam, seems to keep everything protected fairly well, the only thing I don't like is the plastic cover for the screen. I understand the need but it feels horrible to my fingers, though my wife doesn't mind it. So if you need to protect your ipad from kids, this is great, but just be aware the screen protector plastic is just a bit meh.
