Excellent piece of kit
I bought this along with the Air Commander to do some off-camera flash work. It has worked flawlessly both on and off the camera and is a definite improvement over the i40 which I have for a Sony bridge camera. It seems solidly made and has not given me any concerns. I agree with another reviewer in that it does not come with unicorns! Highly recommended!

design 10/10 build quality ?/10 i don't know about the flash head, once you tilt it upward you are exposing alot of things and the lock on the flash head is not that strong specially if you put any slightly oversized modifier on it.

Nissin i60A. A powerfull Flash a working horse - even more with some companions in the team
I've been using the two Nissin i60A with my Fuji cameras for at least 3 years. I never got around to writing a review. Sometimes you are more even mormotivated to write a review if you are not completely satisfied or disappointed with a product. Neither happened to me. Two workhorses, the 2 Nissin i60A, just as powerful as the premium flash units from the camera manufacturers - and only for 1/2 to 1/3 the price. In addition, the Nissin i60A is so compact and light, you don’t not have to compromise - even by using on a "mirrorless camera". Sometimes used as a „on camera flash“, but more often unleashed with a Nissin Commander (first with the Nissin Air1, now I've recently bought the Nissin MG10 and the set included the new Commander Air 10s).The flashes are reliable, true to color and - especially now with the new Commander Nissin Air10s - can be remotely controlled even more easily. Not only you can trigger them and rely on the TTL measurement of the camera, but exposure corrections are so easy to carry out, it is a is a pure joy. You can fully concentrate on the camera and the subject.Yes, I know other mothers have beautiful daughters too (a German is speaking), but is that enough to get along with them for a long time - is it? I doubt it!There are cheaper solutions, I know. Having a good taste ist mostly a little bit more expensiv. It is also a question of the operating concept (Apple shows). If you want to take good photos without a lot of technical knowledge by using a radiocontrolled flash system, if you dont want to search function behind only a view buttons with multiple assignments, if you don’t want to torchure your fingers, if you love working with your camera and your flashes in a relaxed way, choose Nissin with their faboulus NAS operating system. If you have nerves like wire ropes, and if you are the next 007 replacement, able „defusing a bomb“ on a „roller coster ride“ you can look cheaper elsewhere. The HSS function of the Nissin i60A is also very helpful, as the Nissin i60A flash power „runs on steroids.“ You can use it as a fill-in flash in daylight and outdoors. A truly game changer.

small but powerful flash for Fuji CSC cameras. no unicorns.
bought to replace a lost i40 flash. Works perfectly on my xpro2 and xt2. Recycles quickly on high power batteries (2900mAh from 7dayshop).head swivels and elevates for bounce, comes with a STO-FEN style diffuser and a pouch you can attach to a belt or bag.Its intuitive to use (better than i40) and not too top heavy on the small CSC cameras. No issues with latest fuji firmware and internal firmware updates should they become necessary can be done quickly from the distributor. Its light, does a great job and having just used in on coverage of a 4 day film festival the only issues I had were from my having trouble removing the diffuser quickly and also pulling off the built in bounce card. That easily clicked back into place and hasn't been an issue since.Cons: Does not come with unicorns. my daughter checked.
