Firstly the battery life is amazing! I upgraded from my Canon, which has been great but I really hated the cost of batteries. I needed a reliable flash for wedding season and this doesn’t disappoint. Battery life covers 2 -3 full day weddings. The ability to link to my Canon flash was a huge plus, as well as linking to other Godox flash guns. The menu and instructions are easy to navigate and with my Canon mk3 I can adjust power in camera or on the flash. Although I like the traditional shape I’d look to the round head next time for the light distribution benefits.Godox, is a must for all pros.

Great productBut it died after 7 months

So much better than the Canon equivalent, and at a huge saving. The rechargeable battery was the main draw for me, and so far its not let me down. Very fast recharge cycle, which doesn't seem to slow down until the battery is about to die, and that takes ages.Very much recommended.

This is a great flash to use. Very robust and reliable. Great battery life. Operating system is I find a little complex but all speed lites are.

I love the speedlight and looking forward to working with it.However, it is very difficult to understand the intricacies due to the very poor quality of the instructions. They are ridiculously small, poorly laid out and not easy to understand. Come on - a few more pennies on paper would not be too much to ask. But I love the speedlight.

Sadly the flash arrived damaged so I’m waiting for a refund before I reorder

Me llegó antes del tiempo estipulado, el Flash llegó en perfectas condiciones. Funciona muy bien con mi 5D MK II, lo logré sincronizar con el 580 ex de Canon. Hasta el momento las pruebas me tienen muy contento. Para los que no dominan bien el inglés recomiendo bajar el manual en español, pues es importante leerlo a detalle para sacar el máximo provecho de la unidad.

WOW!I'm not a pro and in fact only recently in the past 6 months got into photography so for me this is just WOW! The build is excellent as compared to some other cheaper models that cost about 1/2 or 1/4 the price. I got this model simply because I needed one that would actually work with canon's newer cameras. I own a T7 and the other flashes that I had purchased will not work since canon removed the middle firing pin on their hot shoes. I ended up buying a cheap used T3 just so I can practice with the other brand flashes and their wireless remote firing. They worked flawlessly but I felt I spent way too much on my T7 to let it collect dust. I just did not want to spend 100s if not 1000s of dollars to get a pair of compatible flashes - I am not a pro!!! I simply want some in expensive add-ons that get the job done. The bonus with this unit is that it supports High Speed Sync right out of the box. I was afraid I would need to update the firmware but it already came pre updated with 1.8 of the firmware so it worked the moment I put it on the T7. I still use the other 2 flashes but use the flash detection / SLAVE II mode on those and keep the GODOX on my T7 to act as master. I just bounce the flash where I want and it activates the 2 slaves (although they are not HSS - but no big deal!)Eventually I can see myself purchasing another GODOX and a remote firing mechanism. It's a GREAT flash and I would highly recommend it to any amateur - not sure about the pros.

The media could not be loaded. While I tried one of these back in February when another photographer lent it to me after complaining of constantly changing batteries and having a battery pack on my belt, I didn’t know if I wanted one. Over the summer, I gradually built my kit to include the Godox AD600 and three AD200s, along with remotes, mounts and modifiers, but felt I was missing something smaller for the run-and-gun type of shooting.This light has a good throw, along with fast recycle time. TTL functionality has so far been spot on. The fact that there’s a battery pack and not AAs means I’m not constantly changing batteries, or waiting for the flash to recycle, and it’s the same size as my other speedlights. There are a few speedlight-specific modifiers that I have and was not able to use with the new lights that I can now use again.From testing it with my Godox XPro C trigger, this is a welcome fit, giving me yet another light to add to a more complicated setup (like a hair light). The photo of my dog was a bounce off of the wall behind me and I’m totally satisfied with this speeedlight and will definitely purchase another when needed.
