From app to real life
Ah this was so sweet. Building a relationship online with no idea that they know each other (kinda) in real life.

I will definitely reread this book
"Your spirit animal should be one step higher than drowning turkey.""That’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me."TLDR: Still the fun, upbeat feel of the first 2 books with the spice kicked up a notch.🌶️: 4/5 - there were more than a handful of explicit intimate scenes (and they were spicy)🏒: 3/5 - hockey was less of a focus in this one but is still present, lots of off season or break timeThis is a college age gay hockey romance between a hockey player and a former teammate's brother. This book focuses a lot on our two main characters figuring out their identities and how they want to label or present themselves. And it's honestly really nice. I think this could be really relatable for a lot of people. Or a great learning opportunity for people who instinctually knew how to identify. I love the communication between the two MMCs in this book. They stumbled a few times but for the most part have very open communication which is refreshing in the romance genre. This book is spicier than the previous two books and I am not mad. It also has quite possibly my favorite HEA.

Another great read for the CU hockey world!
Goal Lines & First Times is book three in CU Hockey series. A MM sports romance.Seth is best friend to Zach and Fosters twin brother. He's struggled with every relationship and it never feels quite right. So after being dumped by his girlfriend he joins an online chat site to form a connection and explore his sexuality.Cohen is a hockey player and confused about his sexual identity when it's brought to his attention making out with your guy best friend in high school could be considered gay. With Cohen being labelled the dumb jock and Seth's aversion to anything hockey, Seth and Cohen are an unlikely couple in the beginning. The banter and chatting back and form through the app with them getting to know each was very slow burn. This is possibly the slowest burn book from Eden and Saxon. While not my favourite couple, they just have something missing for me to be fully invested I still recommend giving this a read.I did enjoy the inclusivity shown throughout the book acknowledging the different and not always sexually charged preferences and the fluidity of the spectrum.

Cohen is ❤️
RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥This was still an enjoyable read even if it wasn’t my favorite in the series! I enjoyed this book a lot, but I think after the first two hit it out of the park, this one was just a bit slower to warm up. It’s definitely worth the read and I adored the characters, but it wasn’t quite as mind blowing as the rest! This one follows Cohen and Seth (Foster’s twin) as they try to navigate and figure out their sexuality through an online dating site. After Cohen realizes he may not be as straight as he once believed, and Seth begins to explore his Demi-sexuality they match online and begin an anonymous text/online relationship. Only it’s not so an anonymous when they realize that they actually already know each other in real life.Cohen is a favorite of mine. I love a cinnamon roll himbo, and Cohen was perfect, especially since I’ve lived him since that early scene in Book 2. He was caring and uncomplicated and his character just brought me a lot of comfort. Seth is a tougher nut to crack, because his personality is a bit defensive and closed off from years of being in his brother’s shadow. I enjoyed the early days of “Einstein” and “Richie’s” inline relationship, and got invested immediately as they started to develop a real connection. I did get a bit frustrated with Seth at points, but ultimately forgave him after he and Cohen finally figured each other out. (Oh and there was one bed at that point which I LOVE)Overall I thought it was good: another quick, easy low angst read in a universe I loved. I appreciated the focus on demisexuality and discovering who you are and what you like. Also I just want to steal Cohen and have him be my new bestie!Recommend!
