I ordered this item on vinyl as I absolutely loved listening to it on Spotify, and was really looking forward to adding to my collection of vinyl. However, the record was scratched on the final track of the first side and the second side was unplayable, and the actual record was warped. Amazon kindly replaced the album for me and the replacement arrived today. However the same issues persisted. The record was scratched and warped. It’s a shame as this is a great album and one of the Arctic Monkeys’ best. After looking at the reviews here it must just be a bad pressing. I’m going to be receiving a refund soon, and would recommend someone looking to buy this album exercise a bit of caution when ordering this in vinyl, you may have a turkey on your hands.

I saw a lot of bad reviews talking about damage or poor quality. I can safely say my transaction was perfect. I own an audio technica record player with an amplifier, on this system it sounds perfect. Parts of songs are dramatic and really pop out to me, the record didn’t skip or jump or anything. Begs the question if I was lucky to receive a perfect copy or other reviews had poor delivery or are playing on a cheap turntable where variables aren’t controlled

I can’t testify for the quality of the product itself, but will assume it plays fine and has a good sound. Unfortunately, the packaging label was placed directly onto the product itself and is all but impossible to remove without damaging the cellophane cover.As this is a gift, it is really compromised. We didn’t want to remove the cellophane to protect the item, but having a massive delivery label on the centre of the cover is ridiculous.I appreciate the need to reduce excessive packaging, but feel an alternative solution would be much better. Even putting the label on the back and to one side would be acceptable compared to what we have.

I bought this with a record player and was so excited to listen since this was my first vinyl. I tried listening but it skipped. I even got my dad to play it to make sure I hadn't messed up and sure enough it skipped in the same place. My dad (who has his own collection and cleaner) tried to clean it and still even after that it kept skipping. I tried a different record to ensure it wasn't the needle and that played absolutely fine. Upon really close inspection the record was actually scratched and obviously had been used before as there were lots of little scratches all over... leaving the 2 star because the few songs that played were awesome (its AM of course they were)

So disappointed and quite frankly very angry and frustrated. My son saved up for Vinyls he was starting a collection we ordered 5 different albums and every one of them is skipping. We tried two different record players did the same in the exact same place. No visible scratch on vinyl. It is not the record player as his other albums bought elsewhere work perfectly.

A brilliant album, with loads of great tracks. Would get five stars, but it was very poorly packaged in just a plastic bag, and as a result the album cover was damaged quite badly when it arrived. Disappointing, especially as it was bought as a gift.

This is the second AM album I have returned. One from Amazon the other from another retailer. Same problem both times; side 2 skips all over, tried other record players same happened. Has to be something wrong with the manufacture. Other albums play fine.

Bought a Vinyl, scratched on a song so it always jumps and misses about a second of the song. Squeaks in parts of the first song on each side. Definitely been sent back and then re packaged and sent back out, came dirty with a few visible marks. Not going through the hassle of sending it back. Apart from that its good but you can tell its a re print.
