This is a wonderful bug zapper it kills so many bugs in my GA lakeside property it is full within hrs. I'm pretty sure if it could hold more dead bugs I would feel like it covers our whole late area including the neighboring properties. This bug zapper does render a great light source, but once it gets covered I do mean complete covered in bugs the light deems a great deal. My only complaint is now after having it a year it appears that it is no longer working. The light does not come on therefore no bug zapping is happening. Now my wonderful bug zapper is out of commission and I have to purchase another one.

Do not BUY! Arrived with one bulb not working. Was able to fix new unit by re-attaching bulb which came loose in delivery. Worked great for 24 hours, then totally stopped killing. Attracted bugs which had a holiday on the coils. Cleaned unit as directed, but still not working I would never buy this product again.

Great bug zapper. I live on 5 acres and it kill nearly every bug in the area. The occasional one off manages to get through.Very bright so set far enough away from where you will be enjoying the outside. The bug tray however is a joke. All bugs get caught in the "zapping screen" Not easy to clean as the screen doesn't come out. I have to get a toothbrush and extend the handle to brush everything out. As I say, I live on 5 acres and the screen completely fills up in about 3-4 weeks.As for killing the bugs go though...it works great so 5 stars from me!

This thing is HUGE! I was not expecting the product to be this large, but that is NOT a complaint. Rural Texas on 5 acres with a stock tank, this thing is zippin and zappin all kinds of them flyin critters. Seems like it’llBe a breeze to clean unlike smaller zappers. When I plugged it in the first time, it did not turn on. I had to push the bulbs in place. Once that was fixed (super easy, just don’t lose the screws) fired that bad boy up and had the car port lit like some ZaZa at Snoop Dogg/Willie Nelson concert.

This light attracts a lot of beetles and large moths but they are bigger than the outer grid so they don't get zapped. They just sit on the outer barrier where they're safe. To be honest, I can't be entirely sure that it zaps anything. Once in a while, I think I hear a tiny zap but never very sure. I live in Alabama and trust me, we have plenty of bugs. I actually expected to hear a lot of zaps but never have. Other than sticking my finger in, I don't know how to see if the inner grid is working. I asked B&D before I hung it but never got a response. :(

The size is great and I love that it came with a gray to slide out for emptying bugs. The little brush should be a nice piece to have as alot of bugs get stuck to the zapper. And it came with a very hood length of chain for hanging! Great product and will buy again!

The media could not be loaded. Got this bug zapper a week or so ago and have mixed feelings about it. On one hand it does a FANTASTIC job drawing the bugs in, but I can count on one hand how many times its actually zapped one. You can watch them walking all over it without a problem. Not sure if something is wrong like a blown fuse or a loose wire maybe. If anyone has an idea please let me know.

(Arrived with some damage)Pros:1) Looks great compared to other bug zapper on the market2) its large size and lights attract a ton of bugs. When they say no closer that 25 feet from where you plan to sit, they mean it. Wherever you put within product, the bugs will come to it in the masses.Cons:1) it's extremely underpowered for its size. Notice they don't tell you how strong the killing grid is.... yeah, that's because nobody would buy it. Once it killed a few small insects, it almost stopped working entirely. I watched a moth walk up the killing grid almost completely un-phased then fly away.2) this unit is expensive for something that performs as poorly as it did. I hade a bug zapper that was 1/3 the cost and more effective than this behemoth.3) unit is made with cheap plastic, which resulted in two of the screw brackets that hold the top on to break in transit.4) 2 of the lights provided flickered constantly not sure if this was due to damage during shipping though.Conclusion:I will be returning this product and spending the extra money for a Flowtron bug zapper. I do not recommend this unit to anyone serious about the war against mosquitoes. Hope this review helps you make a better decision!
