Solar Lamp Post, LED Lights, 1.66m Tall

The 3watt LED lamp is bright and lasts through the night. Not sure how the lamp post will perform in the winter but the charge it receives now is mainly on dull days. The only downside is the pin that holds the base in the ground is too short so I extended it with a piece of tube, simple to do.

First one arrived with two faults, lantern split, and retaining screws pulled out of their location. In fairness to Topnotchsales, they replaced the lamp within a couple of days. Opening the new lamp I noticed that one the locations for the batteries had come out, so I had to open up the lamp and relocate the terminal. Having said all this the light looks quite good although rather flimsy, it wil be interesting to see how long it lasts. Don't really think that it is good value for the money it cost. Although free standing it needs securing with either bolts or spike supplied as a bit of wind would have it topple over.Have been using these lights for two months now and they are working fine, the brightness is very good. For anyone who buys these, I would suggest you check the tightness of all terminals,then you should not have a problem. If they spent a bit more time on assembly it could well solve the silly problems. ( Quality Control springs to mind ).Had to send one of the lights back in August as it stopped working ( not a battery fault ) they replaced the head of the light OK but it cost me £6 in package which Topnotchsales refused to pay. for an item only 6 months old i believe they should cover costs.Oct 13 and the replacement light has failed with the same problem, contacted Topnotchsales and they said manufacturer would only exchange faulty item if it was under three months old. VERY DISAPOINTED with Topnotchsales attitude, all I'm left with is a faulty light. Won't bother with them again.

This Solar lamp post worked well for 2 weeks, then started not switching on, gradually getting worse. The likely cause of this is poor build quality as it the light would flicker on if the outside of the lantern was tapped, indicating loose/poor electrical connections. This is the 2nd one of these i've had, both with the same defect. If you complain you have to do so within 3 months of purchase or the company will not act. I did not do this as i had left it boxed for a few months before installing it.

The items look okay, but one of them has never worked since the day i got them,i wasnt really offered a satisfactory resolution,

Neat looking and bright light, a bit light but cheap price, be ok when I anchor it down in the garden

I got this lamp post for my garden, it looks great, works very well even on dull days it shines out in the night would recommend to anyone.

Like the design, ordered 2,prompt efficient delivery........BUT.......one had to be returned as it was not fit for purpose ( light did not function ). Returned 2nd September.......we hope for a replacement.....but have heard nothing from the company as yet.....not even an acknowledgement.....an email would have been appreciated..... Cost of return...£8's!!!.... ( with G.P.O. promising next day delivery )......after sales service not " topnotch " I'm afraid.

I've had some before and are the best ones ive ever had nice bright light .
