We have tried so hard to love this kettle. It looks lovely, its brilliantly simple to use, the temp control is actually an incredibly useful function and the display and control panel in the handle is brilliant...until it isn't. Our first one lasted about a year before it started acting up. It developed a fault where it would intermittently cut out as soon as you hit the power button after selecting the temperature. A few months later it died altogether so we returned it under warranty and were sent a replacement bu Cuisineart. Her we are a year later and the exact same fault has developed again in the replacement, which is now barely useable and clearly on the way out as well. So there must be some fundamental design or manufacturing flaw in this kettle that renders it useless in a year or two. Which is really sad, because it could be the perfect kettle. Update: Now on our 3rd version of this kettle. Precisely the same fault described above has developed as the previous 2, in the same amount of time (10-12 months). Save your money and buy something else.

Was working great until it stopped working today not even a year old. Would like to return it and get a refund.

Initially a great kettle; boils fast and the ability to select a pre-set range of temps was handy. It lasted just over 4 months before it broke - wouldn't boil anything at any temperate. Beeped and the blue light would still work but that was it. Contacted Cusinart who noted the manufacturing number and issued a replacement, adding on a further year to the 3 year guarantee. Fast forward to now and it's broken again. This one lasted 10 months before the same issue. Best part, that fancy 4-year guarantee is from date of manufacture, not purchase. Ours was made in 2020, bought first time in 2023 and the 4 years ran out mid 2024 so not as fancy as you'd think.

Great kettle. Ideal for herbal teas that are best with a lower temperature.

We previously had one of these kettles that lasted a few years. It looked good and the temperature controls worked well. It started to become temperamental and not always switching on with constant readjusting of the base so decided to go for another as the previous one had lasted. The new one is about 6 months old and has been playing up for some time. It now functions worse than our old one (which has now been recycled) and is very frustrating to use. Constantly switching it on and off and readjusting the base. Our water has the limescale filtered so the kettle is spotless inside. Tried to contact Cuisinaire Customer Support through the Amazon site with no response and there doesn’t seem to be any way to send the product back to Amazon. While happy with the first kettle we had, the second is not fit for purpose.

Looks expensive

Bought November 2024. The temp dial only reads correctly if you stoop low to look at it, otherwise you can't see the numbers. Contacted Cuisinart for a replacement and they said none in stock (despite there being lots in stock on Amazon) and gave me a refund. I bought on a discount so it isn't enough to replace the kettle. Now it's started being temperamental with switching on, often needing to press the button several times before it will start to heat the water. My guess is there's a dodgy batch that were sold cheap on amazon given how many people are having issues (my in brother in law who has had one for 4+ years with no problems)

As highlighted by previous reviewers, the button on our kettle Failed. It was within its 3 year warranty and we received a replacement kettle which only had an extended warranty of 6 months beyond the original 3 year term (in effect 15months warranty). Now Just out of this 15 month warranty, the second kettle has now developed the same fault. Also the silver disc on the lid has now become detached with no way of fixing it back on. We are now left with a matching toaster and no kettle. This is a very poor quality kettle and certainly not worth the purchase price. Don’t waste you money.

bought it again in January 2025. It stopped working in september! Does not start heating water, just says 'sorry'. It was third kettle of this kind i bought. First one still operates nicely after 10+ years. The build quality was great! The second one was bought in 2021, after COVID supply chain issues. That lasted 3 years and died end of 2024. It died exactly like the third one. So I suspect something happened with manufacturing quality around year 2021 and now they dont even last one year! Will have to switch to some chinese models which provide better functionality at a fraction of the price of Cuisinart. And hopefully do not break after few months

livrée inutilisable; Cette bouilloire m'a été envoyée avec une prise anglaise, j'ai donc demandé à Amazon de changer le socle de chauffe avec une prise aux normes françaises. Amazon me renvoie vers Cuisinart que j'ai appelé qui a fini par me dire que je devais leur renvoyer la bouilloire avec photos et factures.j'ai envoyé les documents par le mel donné par Cuisinart. au bout de 5 jours pas de bon de retour; je renvoie alors un mel la reponse assez séche est alors " voyez avec AMAZON". Pour en finir rapidement je suis aller acheter un convertisseur de prise 15€. grosse prise convertisseur qui occupe 2 entrées. Chapeau AMAZON et Cuisinart.

The kettle's opening button broke after two months! I don't recommend it! It's an expensive kettle that's not worth $50 for its quality.

Bouilloire dont on peut régler la température de 5 en 5 degrés. Bonne capacité niveau volume Attention toutefois, elle n’est pas double paroi et lorsque l’eau est à ébullition, les parties métalliques sont très chaudes, risques de brûlure avérées

Lasted 10 months. Now does not work. No warranty. Money wasted.
