Love this book. Borrowed it from the library but had to buy my own copy. So much information, and good intelligent content. Consult regularly just to check in doing things at the right time. E.g. Pruning, seed sowing, cuttings, Best time to add fertilisers & compost etc.

I love this book, I am new to gardening and just moved from a flat with no garden to a house with a little garden and didn’t really have a clue what I should be doing. This book has been great, it talks you through every month of the year and has helped me to plan ahead. It has been a real help to me and it is very easy to read with nice pictures. I have just bought one for my friend who is moving into her first house with a garden.

Ideal book for someone learning all about gardening and wondering what to do in the different seasons and what plants to put in. Bought for daughter, but so impressed with it also bought another one as a present for daughter in law.

About to move into a house with a garden and really wanted a guide that would help me look after it. With month by month breakdowns, this book offers really helpful suggestions of what you could be doing each month, and also which flowers will be in bloom at that time. A really helpful way to plan a garden!

I once borrowed an older edition of this book from the library and I quickly realised how indispensable it was. Lots of brilliant information laid out by month and hundreds of helpful ideas. it is great for someone like me who is relatively new to gardening and needs a reminder of what needs to be done each month. It has also helped me select suitable plants for the garden because it suggests what is at its best each month. This new edition appears to have most of the same information but the book is a lot smaller than the original in terms of page size. As a result some of the content has been removed or reduced. In particular some of the figures (images) have been taken out of the book. This was a little bit disappointing hence the four stars but it is still an excellent reference and the smaller page size does make the book easier to read.

Detailed advice on what to do throughout the year. Exactly what I required. This is our go to book at the begining of every month.

I bought this gardening book for my wife who has a keen interest in the subject. I'm pleased to say that it was an outstanding success as she was extremely pleased as it covered virtually all areas. I was also extremely pleased as to just how quickly the book was delivered and in such perfect condition. Certainly great value for money!!

Es uno de los mejores libros de jardineria que he leído, recomendado por todos los expertos. ¡Una gozada! Me ha enseñado mucho y he pasado horas y horas leyéndolo, y consultándolo. Recomendado para los expertos y para quienes se inician en el sueño de un jardin.

Das Buch erinnert "Gartenanfänger" und Fortgeschrittene an die wichtigen Tätigkeiten, die gerade anstehen. Schöne Pflanzvorschläge! MIttlerweile habe ich ein sehr ähnliches Buch auch auf Deutsch gefunden.

Tolle Tips übers ganze jahr! In Englisch, aber gut verständlich. Ein Plus für jeden Hobbygärtner.Ich empfehle es gerne weiter.
