KJV, Reference Bible, Compact, Large Print, Snapflap Leather-Look, Burgundy, Red Letter, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, King James Version

This pocket bible is slightly larger and bulkier than expected, but is very good nonetheless. The type is a good size for me reading with 2.5 reading spec. It takes a while to get used to the references being in a ‘pile’ at the bottom of the page instead of centrally, but they are there. The maps, concordance, reading plan together with parables and miracles of Jesus make this little Bible very valuable.

This is a vewry good reference bible especially for preachers

Not a large print as they say.

I love this small but readable Bible, it is truly full of references, explanations and beautiful to hold and read. It is compact and light enough to keep in your handbag or cabin bag when flying so you are not without it when you feel the need to open it's lovely pages. I would recommend it to everyone.

I'm not going to review the content - it's the classic king james bible you're used to. Binding is nice and wraps around the whole way so you can carry it without causing damage. It says 'large print' on the front, and I'm a little confused why this pocket version claims to use large print while the full hardback one does not. Obviously, the print is pretty small as you would expect from such a big book compressed into a pocket size format! The font is fairly easy to read for me, but I have perfect vision - if you don't then be aware that you might find this print too small.

I like this bible. It fits in my handbag and the print is not tiny. I would have loved it even more if it was real leather. However, it is perfect for what I need and I love the colour. Yes I would recommned it.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Bible and very disappointed because of it. I have my first Bible also by Thomas Nelson from 1985, which is somewhat worse for wear and needs a new cover & some binding. So was happy to purchase another Thomas Nelson Bible ( current purchase) on the pretext it's a reliable source. Unfortunately to my dismay ALOT of the scriptures have been changed or completely ommitted or with additions that don't make grammatical sense. As far as I am concerned, I purchased a KJV Bible, NOT an NKJV or NIV Bible, so why has the text been changed? To the point that some of the paragraphs don't 100% make sense. My original 1985 KJV on the right with orange highlights please read verse 18 & then read the current Thomas Nelson verse 18 & see how the verse is changed & almost makes no sense the way it is phrased. In addition there are grammatical errors. When we speak of God & the Word refers to Him ( God) it's capital "H" NOT common "h". Words like forever is one word based context yet in Daniel 4:34 this Bible has "for ever". - 2 separate words. Proverbs 27:16 ( my original KJV 1985 Bible- typed exactly as per my 1985 Bible) Whoever restrains her restrains the wind, And grasps oil with his right hand. Same verse with this current KJV Bible - typed exactly as written. Whosoever hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which bewrayeth itself. Clearly there is an issue here. To restrain something or someone is to hold back To hide something is exactly as it implies. To hide. Restraining something or someone does not mean to hide something, therefore the context of this verse has changed Honestly if this Bible was printed by someone else - I would have been more forgiving. But being printed by my original Bible printers, I find it inexcusable and worrying, especially for those that have nothing to compare it to. A prime example of how things have been added or left out & makes no sense. - what exactly is the word bewrayeth?! The red letters of Jesus's words are accurate. And the text was the perfect size to do some heavy reading/ study. But now when I read it I have my 1985 Thomas Nelson Bible close to compare - which honestly defeats the purpose. I am bitterly disappointed that I have to do this. I will keep it but it put me off buying a few more to give as gifts.

The bible is of good quality and portable.

This is a compact Bible with a small font, but the font is lovely and very easy to read. This is my "take with me" Bible that I keep in my purse, and I am completely in love with it. It is large print for such a small Bible, but it is not the large print you would get in a standard sized Bible. It also has cross references, alternate definitions, etc. Very beautiful. I just love it. The cover is more of a slate grey than black, but I am completely happy. The cover is somewhat plasticy, but soft, and I know it won't get damaged in my purse!!! I couldn't be happier.

I am very disapointed with this product. You were say in your decription, that is large print. And this is not large print. I want my money back.
