So far I'll give it a 5 star. I only put in about 10 rivets and they were aluminum, but it worked flawlessly. Ill see more next spring when ill have a bunch of steel ones to put in. It is kind of a pain to switch back and forth from forward and reverse but my hands didn't hurt at all so I'll live with that

I have not used this unit just yet. It appears to be well made and durable.

On the first use on a small rivet I had to disassemble it.... Thought it was user error and tried 3 different ways, wrestling to remove a spent rivets each time. Upon inspection of what was keeping the chuck/jaws from fully releasing the spent rivets it turns out that when you reverse the drill, it pushes the chuck back towards the rivit opening and the jaws hit the orifice and therefore is supposed to open the jaws enough to let the rivit shaft be removed or installed. But at fully extended the jaws aren't being pushed enough to fully open. And so beyond frustrated put it back in the box.

You can not use this tool with speed. It'll constantly jam up and or lock up. Keep it greased and go very slow to keep things consistently working. You get what you pay for in this case. Hardly heavy duty but does the job.

I was a little worried after reading some of the negative reviews, but this thing is amazing. No more cramping hands! I bought it because I had some heavy duty rivets to install and the regular hand tool couldn’t even dent the mandrill. There was no hesitation with this tool. I canny believe how easily it did the job.

There is a major learning curve with this one but once you figure it out it is better than a manual rivet gun, I'm getting better at it but every once in awhile it frustrates me, I would recommend watching YouTube videos because they have a few suggestions to make it easier to use, at first I wouldn't have recommended it but now I do.

Works like a charm!! Had to install some steel rivets and am to weak to use the mechanical rivet gun. This tool made to job very easy. Great addition to the tool box.

Easy to use, seems to be of fairly good quality, one thing to notice is that the connection to the tool is 8 mm, not 1/4", so it can not be used with cordless screwdrivers that have an 1/4" attachment.

Brilliant. I had some 4.8 mm rivets to reassemble a bike exhaust. Unfortunately my battery drill died, but I used a ratchet with a socket, and it worked very well. Alot cheaper than the battery or air equivalent. 5 out of 5
