Not if the bulb is hot... but a torch can be covered as the glass keeps it from the bulb

Yes, I used them as section for a stained glass window.

How do I stick this to glass to make stained glass?

I did not stick it to glass … instead I made cardboard cut outs of the shapes… with the centres cut out so the cardboard was like the lead strips and the cellophane was fitted to it with careful use of Scotch Magictape… Also…My grandchild has a lightbox he loves and we place pictures with coloured cellophane as sky or sea or fog and move little paperdoll figures around to make stories. My niece’s girls make glorious patchwork long skirts… my granddaughter made fairy wings with cardboard edges… Great
