This is a blues-based album that is easy and delightful to the ear. It's the same recording session and players as the much-acclaimed Midnight Special. Everyone in the quartet is in top form, in a strong rhythm groove, at top form and easy. You can't go wrong with this one.My Blue Note LP was fine: clean and detailed.

Some people have had issues with Blue Notes Classic reissue series, but so far Ive had no issues. This - like the other 3 records I've got in the classic series - is a good pressing with no skips, clicks or hiss. Packaging is fine too. The actual record is fantastic, and this is a good format to enjoy it on.

This is a nice addition to the Blue Note Classic series. I'm a bit of a sucker for the B3, so I'm glad someone over at blue note is releasing organ works.

The blue note 80,classic series and tone poets are amazing . It’s a shame so many arrive bent warped or broken due to the packaging they come in . The cardboard envelope was thin and battered , I knew before opening sadly that the cover would be damaged . It was , luckily the record wasn’t . Purchased through rare waves Uk .
