Why have I only just discovered this in my fourth year of my engineering course?!!Good price for a very very useful book with everything needed for all my engineering modules and beyond! Recommend for any engineering/science student as it is a on-the-spot reference guide for everything! My lectures blatantly use the figures in it as lots looks very familiar..... :)

This book was on the "suggested purchase list" for starting my Engineering course at University. While it is a book of good content and quality, I haven't actually needed to use it yet (I've only finished my first year so there may still be time). When you become a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (which the University enrols you for a student membership automatically), there is an app that is just as useful (though I haven't had need to use that either) and easier to transport.This is a good product. However, if you are buying for University enrolment, I urge you to wait to see if you actually need/use it as mine is just gathering dust.

Useful Book
Finishing my degree but worked in the industry for 10 years, really useful book. Much more information than the mechanic's pocketbook (more mechanisms than mechanics). This book has a good range of information on the failure mechanics of various different components/structures.

Great compact reference book
Bought this to have another reference book available. Didn't plan that this would be so versatile, great little book and small enough to travel well in the bag. Along with the Zeus book, this travels everywhere with me now its so useful and handy. Highly recommended to any engineer at all levels.

A useful handbook for anyone interested in Mechanical Engineering at any level. A useful reference book to flick through data-wise, some of the talk regarding pathways can be a bit waffling rather than helpful, however.

Very handy
As an undergrad Mech-Eng student I found this super useful.It's very handy and pocket sizedIt covers a wide range of topicsThe price was a bit high but that is the case with these kind of books.

Great data book with pixelated table
This book is having a wealth of information that is handy for any engineer like me to have at an arms length.My only concern is about the quality of some of the tables provided. It feels like a pixelated image was used instead of a crisp table when publishing was done.
