Durable for SATA on SAS backplane, do not buy for SAS on SATA, not the cable's fault
FYI, you CANNOT connect a SAS drive to a SATA backplane. but you can MOSTLY connect a SATA drive to a SAS backplane. SAS and SATA use different signaling voltages. Shorter version: SAS on SATA Backplane = NO. SATA on SAS Backplane = Mostly YES.

always hit or miss with these when connecting to SAS drive, some make good connection, some do not fit well and provide crappy connection, or no connection, when the next one works fine. always buy at least 2

Apparently there is more to it then just adding this adapter for my machine. Could have been a little more clarity but maybe this is something I should have known.

Il cavo e' di discreta fattura, ci sono però diverse imperfezioni. Soprattutto, i denti più esterni del connettore sas maschio non sono ben intagliati, con il conseguente rischio che il cavo si sganci durante l'utilizzo perchè non entra fino in fondo nel connettore a pannello della scheda hotplug del server

El articulo es lo que dicen, pero si lo necesitas porque has comprado un disco SAS sin saber lo que era, devuelve el disco y te ahorraras este dinero porque no existe apenas compatibilidad SAS/Sata
