Worked well on the first day, then couldn't connect to my Switch the following day. I removed it and put it back on and has been working since.

Overall, the product looked good and worked well at first, with all three ports working (arrived Feb 5, 2026). However, over the past month or so, the screens have started turning black randomly. In the beginning, I thought it was an HDMI cable issue, however, the issue persists upon changing cables. While troubleshooting, checking each port one by one and using different HDMI cables to connect laptops directly to the monitor, I found that the Switch is faulty. Apparently, it heats up, and the connectivity between the laptop and monitor stops while the laptop still thinks it is connected to a 2nd screen.

This device works - you can connect up to x3 HDMI devices to it and all connect to your TV and display with no noticeable issues in picture or sound quality. I currently have an Xbox One, Blu-Ray Player and Amazon Fire Stick attached through it and it is easy to flick between each of the three devices by just pushing the button on the splitter device. However... I recommend you get a power socket extension lead that includes individual on/off tabs per socket, so that you can turn off the power to the devices you are not using, as this splitter will randomly try and switch the source input channel on your TV to another input. I have my Virgin Media box plugged into HDMI port 1 and this splitter plugged into HDMI port 2 on my TV. Since first using this splitter, the screen will randomly cut out - sometimes when I'm on HDMI port 1 but mainly when I'm using any of the devices attached to the splitter - and it will try to switch to another source channel on my TV (most of which I've since deactivated to try and stop this from happening). For example, even when my blu-ray player is turned off and I'm not using it, the splitter will randomly switch it on and try to switch over to it - even when I'm in the middle of a game on the Xbox. It doesn't do this all of the time, its hard to describe the regularity with which this issue occurs as sometimes it happens repetitively in a short span, but then afterwards it will not occur for the rest of the day. Overall this splitter device works fine with seemingly no issue in picture and audio performance, but the random switching of source channels is very irritating.
