Great but requires care.
Lovely when finished. Very small parts which require very good eye sight and dexterity. Not suitable for inexperienced modellers but worth patience and care. If you can finish it you will have a really good display model.

Fun quick build
Great quality as usual from Revell. It is a challenging build as the parts are very small so I wouldn’t recommend for beginners. The plane itself was already a glossy red so I decided not to paint it.For the price I think it’s worth it, you can make it as little or as much detailed as you wish with it still looking great!

Lovely little model
I enjoyed making this model, my advice when fitting the top wing: Glue the inner struts to the body then glue the wing to the outer struts, when the glue has dried 'spring the inner struts into position.

Reasonable reproduction of a DR.1
Box arrived a little squashed as Amazon prime had packaged in a paper bag, but the kit inside was undamaged. The kit builds reasonably well, no major fit issues. The detailing is relatively minimal and there is no pilot figure included, which would be nice. This is a very small kit, but this is due to the small size of the plane it's based on - it comfortably fits in the palm of my hand. Personally I wish it had been cast in a more neutral colour. Casting it in a very vivid red plastic meant that the few parts not painted red ( or any alternate paint scheme you may want to apply) requires extra coats as the red shows through strongly. An interesting kit, and worth the fiver it cost me. I intend to build a sopwith triplane next, the British triplane that inspired the DR.1

a lot smaller and fiddly than expected, also a bit cheap looking but it was very cheap so that's to be expected. there is no glue included so you will need to get some
