I’ve been using the Comboss WiFi Hygrometer Thermometer Sensor (2-Pack) for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. It’s a fantastic tool for monitoring temperature and humidity both indoors and outdoors, and the integration with the Tuya SmartLife App makes it incredibly user-friendly.What I Loved:Simple Setup: Connecting the sensors to my WiFi network (2.4GHz) and syncing with the Tuya SmartLife App was quick and easy. The app guides you through the process step by step, and I had both sensors up and running in no time.Real-Time Monitoring: The ability to check temperature and humidity remotely from anywhere via the app is a game-changer. I can monitor my greenhouse and baby’s room without being physically present.App Notifications & Alerts: The customizable notification alerts are fantastic. If the temperature or humidity moves out of the preset range, I get an instant app notification. This feature is especially useful for my wine cellar and greenhouse.Compact and Versatile Design: The small size of the sensors makes them easy to place anywhere—whether it’s a potted plant, pet room, or even a cigar humidor. They’re unobtrusive yet highly functional.Integration with Alexa & Google Assistant: I love the voice control feature! With simple commands like "Alexa, what’s the temperature in the greenhouse?" I can get instant updates without even opening the app.Data Storage and Export: The two-year cloud data storage is a huge plus! Works with just the app and your phone.Always too high and low for temp and humidity.It works.

This sensor works well, connects easily to the Tuya app over WiFi and seems reasonably accurate compared to other thermometers I have. However the update rate is only about once per hour. This means that it may not be suitable for controlling heating or cooling for comfort, but as a means of switching on a heater for frost protection in an outbuilding, it’s a good choice. You cannot set routines up with Alexa based on temperature or humidity though, but that’s a limitation of Alexa, not this device. Overall, it’s good value for money.

Not straight forward install on Alexa (manufacturer not in the list) and now it's only showing humidity, not the temperature, so pointless for me.Not recommended

The setup was straight forward and quickly connected to the App. There’s a delay in displaying the current temperature but its accurate once the device updates

Neat little unit. Connected easily with Smart life app. Alexa then picked it up automatically. BUT it says specifically not for outdoor use in the instructions and there are no sealing gaskets, so beware.

Easy to setup, WiFi appears to stay connected. For the price this is a great piece of kit. Time will tell if it continues to work bit great for the first month alerting me when it falls below zero
