Very nice easy to use
This is a beautiful camera! So far it has worked for what I wanted it to. I like taking pictures of the birds at the birdfeeders. It’s very easy to use. When you have it zoomed in, you have to have steady hands or it is very blurry. It got a great photograph of this Carolina chickadee.

Nice camera, worth the price
Love it so far, it’s not first “nice camera.” I think the price is good for the product. I took about a week to learn it but I love it so far. I put pics that I took with the camera.

Nice camera, great price
I like this camera a lot. I bought it for optical zoom, and I'm very pleased with the shots I'm able to get, which is mostly wildlife and waterfowl. I take all of these types of shots using the SCN>Pet Mode. I learned that little trick many years ago on a Panasonic camera I had. So for my uses, this is a pretty good camera, particularly for the reasonable price. Pay attention to instructions to achieve focus by first pushing the button down halfway. You'll hear a tone and see a green bordered rectangle when the camera feels it has focus. It doesn't always, but you'll get the hang of it to achieve a pretty decent level of what you expect. I used to have an old Easyshare years ago, and operationally, the PixPro is very similar, though far superior. So this was an easy camera to learn for me. Once you've familiarized yourself with its operation, I think most people will find it fairly simple to use. It is also comfortable in your hand. With the kind of shots I'm taking, I'm usually using a tripod. Keep that in mind. I've included 4 photos, which you probably won't be able to see that well, but all were taken on near max zoom except the deer, which I was very close to. The encasement of the camera is a little strange and super easy to mar or scuff. When I tried to clean it with a cloth, I then had scuffs and lint. I found the best thing to clean the encasement with is the red antibacterial Wet Ones wipes. I would not say the battery life is long. But the batteries are cheap. And I bought two of them in a package deal with a double charger. It connects by USB C to my OnePlus car charger, so I'm getting supervooc charging. Very fast! No need to charge slow by connecting to the micro USB! Easy battery in and out of the camera. I rotate 5 batteries including the one that came with the camera. I have no complaints about the regular photos I've taken of landscapes, sunsets, people, etc., but I usually use my phone for things like that. Also, it's super easy connecting my devices, both tablet and phone, to the camera's WiFi. Additionally, the PixPro app works extremely well with both devices, which are OnePlus, but I haven't updated that app on either device. I'm a little afraid it won't work right if I do. If there's ever a need, I'll update it 😉

Worth Every Penny—No Regrets
I didn’t expect to love this camera as much as I do, but it’s honestly been such a good investment for me. The picture quality is amazing—everything comes out so clear and vibrant, even when the lighting isn’t perfect. I’ve taken some of my favorite photos with it already, and it just makes everything look so much better without me having to try too hard. What I really like is how easy it is to use. I’m not super technical, but I was able to figure it out quickly and actually enjoy the process. The autofocus is super fast, so I don’t miss moments, which is really important to me. It also feels really nice in my hands—like it’s sturdy and made to last. I’ve been using it a lot and the battery holds up well, so I’m not constantly stressing about it dying on me. Overall, I genuinely love this camera. It’s made taking pictures way more fun for me, and I find myself reaching for it all the time now. Definitely one of those purchases I don’t regret at all.

It's Guess and Hope
Ordered this for my wife to take pictures of birds in our yard using a lens hood and UV filter (both must be purchased separately). It has not been used indoors. The major problem with this camera is the lack of a viewfinder. Pictures must be set up using the small LCD screen on the back of the camera. Unfortunately, when you use the camera outside, the screen shows your own reflection looking back at you and you can't see what you are aiming at. I contacted Kodak customer service to see if anything could be done about this: perhaps a non-reflective coating that could be applied to the screen. This was their reply: "...when hit with sunlight the screen will look black and the only thing you can do is hover your hand over the top of the camera to keep the sun from hitting the LCD screen before pressing the shutter button." Unless you have 3 hands or are using a tripod this is an unworkable solution. The shutter and zoom controls are on the right side of the camera so you hold the camera on the right. You need to steady the camera with your left hand when the zoom is extended because the camera becomes front heavy. Using this camera is like standing in a crowd and holding your cell phone over your head to try to take a picture of something you can't really see. Sometimes you get a good picture, most times you don't. It's not point and shoot - it's guess and hope.

Great zoom capabilities
We wanted a camera with a long optical zoom that was affordable, and this one is. It's been fun trying to learn to use it and we've gotten some great shots of wildlife--mostly ducks and birds. It's relatively easy to use for a "beginner," and has some nice features--like charging the battery without removing it from the camera. However, I'm not impressed either with panoramic shots or the color. In fact, we are quite disappointed with colors that seem muted. I know we can brighten shots with a phot editor, but it would be nice to get that true color from the camera itself. I know the reviews aren't great for this product so we were warned. I'm not really sorry I bought the camera, just a little disappointed in the color quality. But if you mostly want it for the zoom capability, this is definitely a choice in the lower budget range.

An Amazing Camera
This is an amazing camera. In a world of technical terms, it does take some time to learn how to use it. Things to do (or) know. This camera does use an (LB-060) reactangular shaped (lithium rechargable battery) which is included but I recommend buying a second battery. It does not come with a memory card. You will need to purchase a minimum of (32gb) memory card. Do yourself a favor, download the user's manual .pdf file from the internet. Just type in the full name of the camera followed by "users manual" and you will have what you need to set up your camera correctly. It has a lot of features that work great, probably more than you need if you are not a professional. After having to purchase multiple cameras, this one is by far the best value for the price. It does take some patients and tweeking but when you are done I found this camera much better than my GoPro 12, in my opinion. Although I wouldn't classify it as an action camera, it does take great stills as well as videos. This is a great value all in one camera! 1080p is so close to 4k it's very hard to tell the difference. That's what this camera is a 1080p but the small difference is worth avoiding all of the 4k headaches.
