Accurate
Probably the most accurate body fat measuring device available. I compared it to the InBody scan and it was within 0.2 %. My scales (Tanita) say19.5% and InBody / Chisel says 14.8% / 14.6%! If you need to track BF% this is the best tool for your money.

The body fat trends are correct
I had this for a year before writing this review. I have been using it regularly and gave it enough time to make sure my review is valid. The trend in fat percentage is correct. I can’t judge the accuracy of absolute values, as I have no other tool to compare it with. The muscle quality measurements are all over the place and make no sense.

Looks good but frankly it's useless
Save your money and buy a tape measure. The Skulpt is nothing more than a novelty item that looks cool but is unable to do what it's meant to do, i.e., measure body fat and "muscle quality" accurately."Real-time scanning" - according to Skulpt it allows you a second chance to find the correct placement for the device and therefore should increase accuracy. However, it means you slide and push the device into any position on the target muscle until you find the highest "muscle quality" score. This means you are stacking the deck in your favour/to your detriment. Not happy with the score displayed? Simply slide the device over a little until you are. Do this 24 times and you can have the body fat score you've always wanted!"Muscle Quality" - It's not exactly clear how this is calculated but it's based on sound science. The problem lies in the fact that it relies on a customer scanning the same part of the muscle each time. It's not uncommon for this score to vary 20 points between scans and this is using the scale to 100 option. Now of course you can rescan until you get a more reasonable result (see above) but this leaves you with no real idea of what score is the most accurate. Not that it matters as it's a number that means nothing outside the world of the Skulpt.I've not had any problems with the device charging, like other customers, and the device and app seem to work well together.

inaccurate?
The device works but there is something wrong in my opinion about the estimates: the full body fat percentage estimate is higher than "all" of the individual muscles body fat percentages in the full body scan. Also, I have seen that from one scan to the other, the individual muscles have decreased in their fat percentages, while the total body fat percentage estimate has increased.

I am sure that other professional devices are better, but this one is very good for money ...
Probably the most accurate non-expensive body fat measuring device.I am sure that other professional devices are better, but this one is very good for money I have paid for it.

Love it. Just have to be careful and place it fairly in the same place. Good for tracking your progress and good value for money as well.
