I’ve gotten good feedback on this microphone. The cheaper stuff I bought on amazon didn’t work out. I have a scarlet setup and it works but still a bit confusing to connect together. But mic itself is clearly high quality.

The Logitech Blue Sona came onto my radar when looking into alternatives for similarly priced and designed microphones. Similar to industry leaders like Shure, I decided to take a chance on the Blue Sona and test it out. I bought it at full price MSRP ($350), and I am not disappointed. Ran through a budget PreSonus Interface, and the results I received from this microphone were incredible. Matches or beats the industry standard, and for cheaper too! Has a high pass filter and presence boost mode if you want to use that and has an internal shock mount that works great with my microphone stand. I really cannot praise this microphone enough. From build quality to features, and of course audio quality, I fully recommend this microphone. I bought this opposed to getting the sm7b for vocals, but returned it as it was not suitable to my voice.My voice is on the higher end of male voices and this mic make is pretty muddy without using the low cut filter on it..The super cardioid pattern works well to isolate your voice but the pop filter doesn't help much in reducing muddiness

Very simple setup. Outstanding quality and design. Using a simple ffine mixer w/phantom power, zero issues out of the box for both windows AND MacOS. I use both. It would be really nice if the provider supplied a 3ft or so XLR cable by default as it's a requirement to use, but minor as most will be purchasing appropriate lengths for their own setup.
