Comfortable and efficient
I replaced my old fins from many years ago and I’m impressed by how comfortable these are. No foot or leg fatigue. I’m very happy indeed.

Easy to fit and comfortable but hugely expensive here so shop around
This review is for the Cressi (M/L, Black / Red)Cressi (M/L, Black / Red)£70.41 - £155.62 at the time of review. The M/L size under review was £70.41.I tried these on in the house only (sadly not in the water yet) and they are a tight fit, although in colder water and if wet, your feet should slide in more easily. You can also wear these with or without a (swimming) sock if you want to but these vary in thickness around the 1.5-5mm thickness which makes a difference to the fit.Finding the correct size is all important and I went for the M/L size which is supposed to be the Euro size 41 – 43. I take a size 9 UK and found this tight so you may want to go for the larger size, but there is a huge difference in the price on Amazon for that as it jumps to £155.62, but more on that at the end.The actual heel is very thin and much thinner than fins that have heel cups on them but the plus of this design is that the water will flow through the foot cup allowing water to pass through the fin making it easier to use. There is a grab handle at the rear to help you pull the fins on and this is really easy to use and makes them much easier to fit than fins without this. The tension of the strap is held by an elastic which has cleats on it that can be loosened or tightened to get a better fit. Even though I haven’t tested this in water, I couldn’t feel any pressure on the top of my foot that I get with other enclosed foot pockets and I can see myself wearing this for a few hours without any problems at all. Each fin has two rigid lateral wings that direct the flow of water to the central section, where the overlaying of a softer and more elastic material makes it more flexible which means you will get more power from each kick. These are beautifully made, comfortable and a new style of fin to the market. If you enjoy snorkelling or scuba diving, you won’t go far wrong with these fins. I see no negatives here apart from the price, so 5 stars from me and highly recommended. However, a brief online search showed me at least two online retailers that sold this pair of fins for between £31.74 - £39.22 and also on in the EU for around 45€, so it looks to me like this price is hugely exaggerated over what you need to really pay. Shop around.

Genuine gear, well made, well sized. Costly here though.
Before we begin, I got this item at zero cost through the Vine programme, that doesn't mean it gets a positive review though. User reviews are important, they're genuinely useful to buyers and we should use them, so here comes an honest and hopefully helpful one.➡️ In the box ...... you get the fins in a branded plastic bag.➡️ Build quality ...... is excellent. The rubber is firm and hardwearing. The elasticated bungee ankle straps are thick, adjustable and strong. The hinged ankle straps are well machined and rotate fully and smoothly.➡️ In use ...... well honestly I haven't tried these ones in the water as yet, but I own other fins and have used various brands at different times, some made by the same manufacturer Cressi. They have always performed and have a solid feel to them. They don't tend to degrade much over time and these are no different. They're superbly made and feel up to the task. They're accurately sized too and hold firmly on your feet. I'm a UK size 11 boot and these are good and secure. The stiffer spines of these fins offer some rigidity to propel you through the water, whilst the softer areas maximise your surface area. The bungee ankle straps are fairly heavy duty and fully adjustable both in terms of grip and rotation, meaning you're less likely to suffer blisters.➡️ Overall impressions ...... these are remarkably similar to other fins I already own. I even had some Cressi fins myself a few years ago, but they were "borrowed" by a friend and I lost them. They were very high quality and fine for the dives I went on. These are much the same. They feel superbly made and I'd have no concerns in using them again.👍 Excellent build quality and materials.👍 Comfortable relatively at least.👍 Make a brilliant sound if you try to Riverdance.👎 High price here for the exact same product elsewhere. The product is fine, but the price is excessive here. Browse around before deciding to buy.🔍 And the big question, would I buy it? ...... yes, but be sure to browse around first.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good quality fins for open water
These fins from Cressi are the 'Maui' style of their range and designed for open water diving... you probably wouldn't want to use these in the pool due to how large they are.The materials used are of Maui's dual blend, which means they're very flexible in the water. This is useful as when you kick they naturally want to bounce and propel you along with minimum effort. For this reason, they are good for beginner through to experienced swimmers/divers.The materials all feel very sturdy and like they will last for some time. I also really like the look of them. The blue and black work well together and the Cressi name is a sign of quality and so I don't mind it being so visible on the fins in honesty. The strap at the back is useful for carrying these and pulling them on very quickly and easily. Despite this elasticated strap, they feel very secure when in the water. It's a nice balance. In terms of UK sizing:S/M is around a 4-7M/L is around a 7-10L/XL is around a 10-13I know the sizing is a bit of a pain, due to the range, but it's because they have an elasticated strap at the back that hugs your heel and are also quite long - so there's a lot of give in them. If you plan to use them with boots then you should almost certainly size up.I picked up the L/XL size and that's good for me as a size 10.5 shoe wearer.Overall, these are high quality, very well-functioning fins that also happen to look great!

The media could not be loaded.
